Conducted under the rigorous standards of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), the examination is widely recognised as one of the most challenging global assessments in the field.
The EAACI–UEMS Knowledge Examination attracts experienced specialists from Europe and other regions, testing not only theoretical knowledge but also advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based management of allergic and immunological disorders. Dr. Billa’s first-place ranking places him at the forefront of global allergy practice and reflects the growing international presence of Indian clinicians in highly specialised medical disciplines.

A gold medallist and best outgoing student during his MBBS, he pursued postgraduate training in Respiratory Medicine at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad. His transition into the specialised field of allergy and immunology was guided by extensive fellowship training under senior clinicians and mentors of international repute.
