Over 4,500 Students to Compete in 13th SPELL-A-THON OLYMPIADS Grand Finale in Kolkata
Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], June 29: Over 4,500 children from more than 77 premier schools across Kolkata, Howrah, and Hooghly are gearing up for the ultimate linguistic showdown. The highly anticipated 13th Grand Finale Competition of SPELL-A-THON OLYMPIADS will be held on June 27th and 28th, 2026, at the prestigious Gokhale Memorial Girls' School, Kolkata.
Running concurrently at the same venue is the 13th Anniversary Inter-School OPEN SINGLE ROUND COMPETITION 2026, marking over a decade of nurturing linguistic excellence in young minds. To accommodate the massive influx of participants, the competition will be held in multiple structured slots over two days.
Founded in 2012 by Ms. Janaki Venkatramani, an eminent edupreneur, SPELL-A-THON OLYMPIADS has grown from a local initiative into a massive academic movement, consistently appreciated and encouraged by top-tier schools over the years.
Steering the academic excellence of the Olympiad is Ms. Anjana Mallick, a revered educationist with more than four decades of profound experience, who serves as the organization's Chief Academic Advisor. Elevating its institutional rigor, the entire platform operates under the prestigious Mentorship of IIM Bangalore, ensuring world-class standards in competitive design and execution.
