That is the heart of the brand's franchise offer. Laundry is not a treat or a fad. It is a need that comes back every week, in every home, whatever the season or the economy. A customer who is happy with a service does not have to be won over again each time. They simply order again. For a first-time entrepreneur, that kind of repeat business is worth far more than a flashy opening day.
Of course, an everyday need alone does not make a good business. India's laundry trade has long been fragmented, with small operators who have no standard process and no brand behind them. A newcomer starting alone would face the same problems: finding customers, hiring staff, choosing machines and keeping quality steady. Revivo's answer is to take most of that uncertainty off the partner's plate.
The company runs a franchise model it calls Live Laundromat, designed for places where people already walk past every day, such as residential markets and co-living areas. What sets it apart is the order of events. Revivo spends time building demand in the neighbourhood before a store is handed over, so a new partner begins with customers waiting instead of an empty counter and a hopeful signboard. Most franchises ask the owner to create demand after opening. Revivo does it first.
Once the doors open, support continues. Partners get help with staffing, equipment and daily processes, and are expected to follow the same procedures as every other store. That consistency matters in a business built on trust. A customer who finds the same quality in Gurugram, Lucknow or Pune is a customer who stays.
The technology side helps too. Customers book through an app, with pickup and delivery handled as part of the service, which means a franchise partner is running a modern, branded business and not just a shop that waits for walk-ins. Services range from everyday laundry and ironing to dry cleaning, shoe care and the cleaning of curtains, carpets and upholstery, giving each store more than one way to earn from the same customer.
The numbers suggest the model is travelling well. Revivo has grown to more than 50 stores across cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Mohali, and is now looking at tier-two cities where organised garment care is still rare. Founders Vikas Agarwal and Khushboo Gupta, who started with a single laundromat to understand the ground reality, have built the system around one belief: partners succeed when the brand does its share of the work.
In a market full of trends, Revivo is betting on something steadier. Fashions change, but laundry day does not.
