Expanding into Hindi and Telugu Feature Films
Moving from books to cinema requires a different understanding of storytelling. While novels allow writers to explore a character's thoughts, emotions and internal conflicts through descriptive narratives, films require those elements to be communicated through scenes, performances, visual sequences and dialogue.
Vipul Vijay is currently actively writing across both the Hindi and Telugu film industries.
He is collaborating as a screenwriter on three feature film projects with producer Anjum Rizvi. Alongside these projects, he is also writing two Telugu feature films, marking his growing involvement in regional cinema.
Additionally, Vijay is in advanced discussions with two major Bollywood production houses regarding prospective upcoming releases.
These developments represent an important phase in his professional journey, as he works towards bringing his storytelling approach to audiences through multiple cinematic formats and languages.

Vijay's experience across multiple literary genres provides a broad creative foundation for his screenwriting work. His published portfolio includes horror, fantasy, mythology, political thrillers and crime fiction, offering different narrative perspectives and storytelling possibilities.
His interest in complex characters, suspense, cultural themes and emotional storytelling can contribute to developing screen narratives that appeal to different audience segments.
His experience with mythological and historical subjects also reflects an engagement with Indian cultural narratives, while his thriller and fantasy works demonstrate an interest in imaginative storytelling.
The transition into cinema allows him to explore how these different elements can be translated into visual experiences. It also creates opportunities to work with new creative teams and contribute to stories designed for the big screen.
