How to Unlock Limitless Potential of Your Talented Child?

An Exclusive Q&A with distinguished Educational Innovator Anjali Sanghi

For over two and a half decades, Anjali Sanghi has stood as a luminary of creative, educational, and holistic innovation. An award-winning artist, best-selling author, educational innovator, and former clinically practicing holistic healthcare practitioner, her life’s work has empowered over 100,000 individuals globally. Today, she is revolutionizing how we approach home education through her groundbreaking course, ‘Talented to Polymath’. We sat down with Anjali to briefly discuss her 26-year journey, and the extraordinary success of her son, recognized Indian Polymath – Manikya. We seek to understand how everyday parents can educate their talented/ genius/ gifted/ normal kids calmly at home, without any added pressure, to gain a potential to become self-aware, highly capable polymaths.

Q1: Your journey is incredibly multifaceted, beginning with art at just one and a half years old, moving into holistic health, and now pioneering educational innovation. Where did the foundation for this approach begin?

A: My foundational understanding of life and human potential comes directly from my honorable Mentor, World-renowned Spiritual Scientist & Meditation expert Sri Maa Sidh Sidhshakti Ji. Under her guidance and while volunteering at Her Institute of Spiritual Sciences— I gained profound insights into the transformation of human character and the honing of multiple talents.

This early guidance fostered my lifelong dedication to education and wellness. As a multi-certified holistic healthcare practitioner and early childhood educator; I also had the opportunity to serve kids, parents and people of all walks of life in India, and understand their struggles. I soon realized that to truly transform a child's future, we couldn't separate their physical mental, emotional well-being from their education and creativity. That realization birthed my "Fun to Learn" methodologies, which eventually evolved into the comprehensive "Talented to Polymath" customisable blueprint we use today.

Q2: You speak to parents all over the world. What is the biggest struggle you see them facing right now?

A: Most parents are exhausted and constantly questioning themselves. They frequently wonder if their present knowledge and methods are "enough" to guide their gifted, multi-talented, or high-energy children, and even the kids who do not show interest in learning. Many of them also feel incredibly overwhelmed trying to balance their child's interests, behaviour, health, habits, and future.

When society tells parents that to raise a successful child, most parents try—more scheduling, more pressure, more rote memorization. It leads to burnout. I had the opportunity to create the "Talented to Polymath" course to solve this, and more unsaid problems being faced by them. It is designed specifically for busy, working, or stay-at-home parents, grandparents, and teachers who want to nurture multiple talents within a peaceful, learning-rich lifestyle.

Q3: How does the "Talented to Polymath" course change this traditional home-based learning dynamic?

A: The core philosophy of "Talented to Polymath" is that deep learning and understanding does not require pressure on memorization. Instead, it actively unites a child’s innate hunger of learning with their natural environment. Crucially, this course achieves this without putting any additional pressure on a family’s well-being, time, income, or relationships.

Through the course, we help parents shift from feeling overwhelmed to becoming confident parent-educators. We teach how to direct a child's energy rather than suppress it. The methods are customisable, easy to learn and apply, yet deeply impactful. It works beautifully for kids who are already recognized mostly as talented, gifted or genius, but it is equally transformative for children who find traditional way of education difficult or uninteresting.

Q4: Please tell us What and Who is a Polymath?

A: polymath /ˈpɒlimaθ/

A polymath is an individual with deep expertise and proficiency across multiple, diverse disciplines, often combining them to solve complex problems. Derived from Greek for "having learned much," they differ from generalists by achieving high-level mastery in several fields, driven by immense curiosity. Common examples include Leonardo da Vinci, Aryabhata, Albert Einstein, Rabindranath Tagore…

Key Characteristics and Concepts

Interdisciplinary Thinking: Polymaths transfer knowledge between fields, allowing for unique creative insights.

Auto didacticism: Many are self-taught, driven by a passion for learning rather than formal education in every field.

        Beyond "Jack of All Trades":

While a "Jack of all trades" may have broad but shallow knowledge, a polymath demonstrates depth in several areas.

Historical Significance: Historically valued, the concept is seeing a resurgence in the modern world, where technology enables rapid, interdisciplinary learning.

Polymathy in the Modern World
While modern society often emphasizes specialization, polymathy is increasingly relevant for navigating complex, interconnected challenges. The ability to connect disparate ideas is considered a significant asset, and as digital technology provides tools to facilitate learning across diverse subjects, having the opportunity to learn from the inner and life experiences of an existing polymath must be taken up immediately.

Q5: The most profound proof of your ‘Talented to Polymath’ methodology seems to be your own son, Manikya Sanghi. His achievements are staggering for someone of any age. Can you briefly share about his journey?

A: Manikya’s journey is a beautiful testament to what happens when a child is given the freedom to learn deeply, guided by curiosity and heart, using these exact methodologies. He was educated profoundly at home during his formative years.

Because he was introduced to yoga and meditation as a toddler, under the guidance of our Honourable Mentor Sri Maa Sidh Sidhshakti Ji, he developed laser-sharp focus, deep calm and balance at a very young age. He was reading and comprehending encyclopaedias by age 3. He published his first book at age 5, his first novel at 9, his first screenplay at 13, and had authored 21 books by the age of 14.

Today, Manikya is an internationally recognized 17-year-old polymath. He has achieved multiple world records, written academic books, and won the prestigious national and international Awards, along with setting several new world records. He has equally exceled in sports, dance, yoga, coding, cooking, art, music, philately, numismatics, business, and technology. What makes me most proud, however, the person he has become and his deep understanding of life. He mingles comfortably with people of all ages and all walks of life including artisans, teachers, international speakers, his school mates and his peers alike, proving that true home education can create well-rounded, socially adept individuals.

Q6: For the parents, grandparents, and teachers reading this who want to unlock that same limitless potential in the children they care for, what is their next step?

A: The first step is realizing that you do have what it takes. Recognizing talents of your child and raising a polymath is not about doing more; it is about living and learning differently every day.

I invite everyone guiding children between the ages of 3 and 18 to enrol in the "Talented to Polymath" course.
