began much before the acquisition.
It began with formulations, ingredients, product discussions and long hours spent working closely with the Nature Mania team. Over time, that experience gave her a deeper understanding of the category and a clear perspective on where the brand could go next.
It Started with the Products
While working closely with the Nature Mania team, Dr. Neha became involved in understanding the products at a deeper level — how they were formulated, which ingredients went into them and how different combinations could address specific intimate-wellness needs.
The more she worked with the products, the more she saw the potential to expand the portfolio through purpose-led formulations, carefully selected ingredients and thoughtful combinations.
For Dr. Neha, product development was never simply about adding another product to the market.
It was about understanding the concern first and then asking:
What formulation can be created specifically around this need?
That approach became an important part of the vision she developed for the future of Nature Mania.
Working Closely with the Nature Mania Team
What made this journey particularly meaningful was how closely Dr. Neha worked with the Nature Mania team.
It wasn’t limited to occasional meetings or high-level discussions. She worked alongside the team day and night, discussing formulations, products, ingredients, consumer requirements and possibilities for new solutions.
Those interactions gave her an understanding of the brand that went beyond its product catalogue.
She got to know the people behind Nature Mania, their experience, their working style and the effort that had gone into building the brand.
Over time, a professional association became a strong working relationship.
And that relationship became an important part of the story behind bringing Wayveda and Nature Mania together.
Why Intimate Wellness Needs More Attention?
Intimate wellness is a deeply personal part of overall wellbeing, yet conversations around sexual health can still be uncomfortable for many people.
Research from India shows that sexual-health concerns are not uncommon. A study of 1,376 sexually active adults in an Indian metropolitan city found that 27.18% reported sexual dysfunction. The prevalence reported across studies varies depending on the population, age group and definition used, making it important to view such figures in their specific research context.
For Dr. Neha, the larger opportunity is to make intimate wellness more approachable while developing products with a clear purpose behind them.
The objective is not simply to create products for a growing category, but to understand real consumer concerns and develop solutions around them.
1,51,242 Consumers and a Growing Responsibility
Nature Mania’s journey has already reached a significant number of consumers.
1,51,242 people have used Nature Mania products, representing a substantial base of consumers who have chosen the brand for their intimate-wellness needs.
Behind this number are individual concerns, expectations and experiences.
For Dr. Neha Mehta, this customer base represents more than scale. It provides an opportunity to understand what consumers are looking for, which concerns are most relevant to them and where new product solutions may be needed.
That understanding can play an important role in shaping the brand’s future product development.
When a product becomes part of someone’s personal wellness journey, the responsibility goes beyond simply putting another product on the shelf.
It requires consistency, thoughtful formulation and a clear understanding of the consumer need.
From Product Experience to a Larger Vision
When Dr. Neha started Wayveda, she carried forward the learnings and experiences gained through her work with Nature Mania.
Wayveda gave her an opportunity to build around a broader vision for intimate wellness — one focused on making the category more informed, approachable and innovation-led.
At the same time, her connection with Nature Mania continued. The two journeys increasingly began to complement each other.
Nature Mania had product experience, an established customer base and a team that understood the category.
Wayveda brought a broader vision and an ambition to explore new formulations, ingredient combinations, formats and product categories.
Bringing these strengths together created a natural opportunity to take both journeys forward.
More Than an Acquisition
For Dr. Neha, Nature Mania was never simply a brand that existed in the market. She had worked with its team.
She had spent long hours understanding its products.
She had been involved in discussions around formulations and future possibilities. And she had developed a genuine connection with the people behind the brand.
So when the opportunity came to bring Nature Mania and Wayveda together, it wasn’t simply a conventional business transaction.
It was the continuation of a relationship that had already been built through collaboration.
Building on What Already Exists
The intention is not to replace what Nature Mania has created. It is to build on its experience and take it into its next phase.
The future direction includes exploring more purposeful formulations, new ingredient combinations, innovative formats and products designed around specific intimate-wellness needs.
For Dr. Neha, innovation isn’t about launching products simply for the sake of expanding a catalogue.
It is about starting with the consumer concern and developing the product around that concern.
The need comes first. The formulation follows.
That philosophy can help create a product portfolio that is more focused, relevant and responsive to changing consumer expectations..
With Wayveda and Nature Mania coming together, Dr. Neha sees an opportunity to take the brand into a new phase — one shaped by product understanding, consumer insights and focused formulation development.
The journey ahead will include exploring new combinations, new formats and new solutions as intimate-wellness needs continue to evolve.
