Tara Mindspace Brings Psychology and Spirituality Together Through Meditation for Life’s Tough Moments
Founded by former corporate leader Kapil Bhagat, the Jaipur-based venture offers live, guided programmes for experiences such as overthinking, sleeplessness, parenting challenges and pregnancy.
Jaipur, Rajasthan | October 29, 2026: A mind that will not settle at bedtime. A parent who feels overwhelmed by another argument about screen time. An expecting mother navigating uncertainty. These are moments when people may need more than an instruction to “think positively” or “just relax.”
Tara Mindspace has been created with these experiences in mind. Founded by Kapil Bhagat, the platform is building its offering around a clear purpose: guided meditation (https://www.taramindspace.com ) for life’s tough moments, bringing psychological understanding and spiritual practice into the same conversation.
Its approach recognises that people often turn to meditation with something specific on their minds. They may want to understand their reactions, cope with uncertainty, reconnect with themselves or find steadiness during a demanding phase of life. Tara Mindspace aims to make meditation approachable through programmes organised around these lived experiences.
Where Psychology Meets Spirituality
At the heart of Tara Mindspace is the belief that psychology and spirituality can offer complementary ways of understanding human experience.
Psychology can help people recognise patterns of thought, emotion and behaviour. Spiritual practices can create space for reflection, compassion, meaning and a deeper connection with oneself. Tara Mindspace seeks to bring these perspectives together through guided meditation, practical learning and engagement with psychologists and meditation teachers.
“People do not always come to meditation because they want to become meditators. Often, they come because something in life feels difficult,” said Kapil Bhagat, Founder, Tara Mindspace. “They may be overthinking at night, struggling with parenting, or feeling unsettled by change. I want Tara Mindspace to work at the intersection of psychology and spirituality—helping people understand what they are experiencing and explore practices that support them through it.”
The intention is to make room for both emotional understanding and contemplative practice, while keeping the experience accessible to people who are new to meditation.
Programmes Built Around Real Life
Tara Mindspace’s initial offering centres on four live, guided programmes:
From Overthinking to Restful Sleep: Bringing psychological perspectives and guided meditation together to help participants explore their relationship with worry, mental restlessness and bedtime.
Parenting in the Age of Screens: Combining insights into parenting and children’s behaviour with practices that encourage greater awareness of a parent’s own emotions and responses.
Meditation for Beginners: An approachable introduction to different meditation practices, helping participants discover a starting point and develop a personal practice.
Garbh Maitri—Pregnancy Meditation: Guided practices that create space for calm, reflection and connection during pregnancy and the transition towards motherhood.
The live format gives participants opportunities to ask questions, learn from teachers and share reflections. Supporting guided practices are intended to help them continue exploring meditation between sessions and beyond the programme.
A Founder’s Vision Shaped by Leadership and Practice
Bhagat brings approximately 25 years of corporate experience, including leadership roles at Magicbricks, Housing.com and Club Mahindra. His professional journey has given him a close view of the pressures people carry while managing work, ambition, family and change.
Alongside that career, his sustained personal interest in meditation and spiritual traditions has shaped the vision for Tara Mindspace.
“In working life, we learn a great deal about managing performance, targets and responsibilities. We often receive much less guidance on working with our own minds,” Bhagat said. “Through Tara Mindspace, I want to create a space where qualified professionals and experienced meditation teachers help people explore both.”
Building Support Beyond a Single Course
Over time, Tara Mindspace plans to develop programmes addressing other difficult experiences, including burnout, uncertainty, grief and examination pressure. A daily meditation community is also part of the longer-term vision, offering participants a way to sustain their practice.
As it grows, the company aims to build collaborations with psychologists and meditation practitioners who share an interest in making these approaches relevant to everyday life.
Its programmes are educational wellbeing offerings and are intended to complement professional medical or mental health care where needed.
For Tara Mindspace, the ambition begins with a practical question: when life becomes difficult, how can people find the understanding, practices and support to meet it with greater steadiness?
