Chandigarh, October 27, On the directions of Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department of Punjab Dr. Baljit kaur, department has conducted a survey and identified 90,248 deceased beneficiaries of various pension schemes. With this step, state treasury will be richer by 13.53 crore per month.
Divulging the detail, Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that a survey of 30.46 lakh beneficiaries of Punjab has been conducted. On completion of this survey, 90248 deceased beneficiaries have been identified.By identifying the deceased beneficiaries, Punjab government will save 13.53 crore per month and 162.36 crore annually.
