The event started with the inauguration by Chief Guest Smt. Jeeva, IFS, who appreciated the efforts of SICCI Kerala and NSIC for organizing an informative program for entrepreneurs. She spoke about the importance of creating awareness among business owners and encouraged them to make full use of government schemes that can help improve their businesses and increase their competitiveness.
Sh. Premraj, Additional Director of the Directorate of Industries, Government of Kerala, addressed the audience and explained how the government is working continuously to strengthen the MSME sector. He highlighted that small businesses are an important part of the economy and encouraged participants to take advantage of available support for technology, finance, and business development.
Dr. Thomas Nechupadam, Chair of SICCI Kerala, delivered a special address and spoke about the organization's commitment to helping entrepreneurs succeed. He explained that SICCI Kerala regularly organizes programs that provide business knowledge, networking opportunities, and guidance from industry experts. He encouraged entrepreneurs to embrace innovation and digital technology to achieve sustainable growth.
Experts from NSIC conducted technical sessions where they explained the MSME TEAM Initiative in a simple and practical way. Participants learned about government assistance, technology adoption, digital business solutions, and skill development opportunities. The sessions helped entrepreneurs understand how these initiatives can improve efficiency and business performance.
The workshop also included B2B and B2C networking presentations where participants introduced their businesses and explored opportunities for future partnerships. Many attendees found these sessions useful because they were able to connect with professionals from different industries.
During the interactive question and answer session, entrepreneurs discussed their concerns about business expansion, government support, and digital transformation. The experts answered every question with practical suggestions, making the workshop highly informative.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Sh. Rajesh Nair on behalf of SICCI Kerala. He thanked the dignitaries, speakers, participants, NSIC officials, and the organizing team for making the event successful.
