The 4W Extreme category saw 30 cars line up at the start, but the demanding terrain and harsh conditions proved challenging, with only 18 vehicles managing to complete the rally.
Navigating steep mountain passes, rocky trails, loose gravel, river crossings and unpredictable weather, Shriya competed against experienced rally drivers, demonstrating exceptional vehicle control, adaptability and determination. Her two podium finishes at the age of 18 mark a significant milestone in her motorsport career.

Shriya began her motorsport journey at the age of nine and has since developed experience in karting, Formula racing, drifting and international competitions. A recipient of the Pradhan MantriRashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022, she has consistently explored new challenges across different motorsport disciplines.
Moving from circuit racing to extreme off-road rallying requires a completely different set of skills, including navigating unpredictable terrain, managing vehicle performance and making quick decisions in demanding environments. Her participation in the Rally of Himalayas reflects her versatility and willingness to push beyond her comfort zone.
