Sadik’s journey has been through various rough patches, after completing his 10+2* he studied Genetics and Biotechnology from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat followed by Masters in Biotechnology from Bangalore. And then he came back to his hometown and started tutoring and teaching students’ biology and he soon realized he was good at it. His parents, students and their parents supported him and he chose teaching as his career.
“I am living my dream work,” says Sadik. But in the year 2016, July he met an accident when an auto rickshaw driver failed to apply break on right time and he got his right leg’s femur broken due to which he had an open injury and had to undergo major surgery, during 2016 to 2020 he underwent four surgeries that includes bone grafting and metal plating. Recalling those days Sadik says, “During those days I was not a piece of small rock, I was like a mammoth mountain that stood strong every time and was waiting for things to recover.”
During those years he researched and in the succeeding year, 2017 he After all the research and reviews around, and came up with a project in 2017-2018 with the aim of providing a qualitative and result oriented approach for students preparing for NEET and JEE. He says, “Whatever I was doing here, I took it to larger platform with other great expert subject teachers. Many times, students actually need multi teacher concept where they can clear concepts easily and when they understand better, they score better. So here I have also put two teachers for a single concept for each topic.” With subject experts on board Sadik launched a platform, SCIGATE and not only provided basic education for 10+2but also trained students for competitive exams.
