For anyone who has watched a false accusation, a fake account, or a stolen private detail climb the search results under their own name, the experience is the same. The post is public, the damage is immediate, and the platform's reporting button seems to lead nowhere. Most people flag the content once, receive an automated reply, and give up, or they confront the poster and make the post spread faster. Respect Network was built for the moment after that frustration sets in.
"People assume platforms ignore them because the system is rigged," said Eric Rivas, CEO of Respect Network. "The truth is more practical than that. Trust and safety teams process enormous volumes of reports, and they act on the ones that identify a specific violation, with evidence, in the language of their own policies. Our 90% success rate is the result of doing that work correctly and consistently, platform by platform, for every single URL."
The firm's method begins with classification. Every post is examined to determine exactly what it is under platform rules and the law. A fabricated claim that harms a professional is treated differently from a coordinated harassment campaign, and both differ from a post that publishes a home address or a private medical detail. Impersonation, doxxing, non-consensual imagery, and copyright misuse each follow their own removal pathway, and choosing the right one at the start is often the difference between a takedown in days and a rejection that is hard to reverse.
Evidence preservation comes next. Respect Network captures each post with its URL, timestamps, account information, surrounding comments, and any related content before a single request is filed. Posts can be edited, hidden, or deleted by their authors the moment they sense a response, and a clean record protects the client's position regardless of what happens afterward. This documentation also becomes the backbone of the removal request itself, giving reviewers a clear, verifiable picture instead of a vague complaint.
With the evidence secured, the firm builds the case. Each submission cites the specific community standard, terms of service provision, privacy policy, or statute that the content violates, and it is written for the reviewer who will read it, not for the person who is upset. Where a post is false and seriously damaging, requests are supported by legal analysis, and the firm pursues formal notices and, in appropriate matters, court orders. Each platform has its own forms, escalation routes, and reviewer expectations, and the team's experience with all six allows it to match the right argument to the right channel.
On Facebook and Instagram, that experience covers harassment, impersonation, fake accounts, and privacy violations that can follow a person across both networks at once. On LinkedIn, where a reputation is also a livelihood, the firm handles false professional claims, defamatory posts, and counterfeit profiles that can cost someone a job, a client, or a license. On YouTube, it addresses defamatory videos, harassment, and content that exposes private information to a wide audience, and its guide to what actually works when removing videos from YouTube reflects the approach it applies in practice. On TikTok, it responds to targeted abuse and impersonation that can reach millions of viewers in a matter of days. On Reddit, where anonymous threads can sit near the top of search results for years, its Reddit post removal work targets false statements of fact and exposed personal data.
Removal does not end the work. After a takedown, Respect Network verifies that the post is no longer accessible, checks for cached and mirrored copies, and monitors for re-uploads so that a problem solved on Monday does not return on Friday. Clients receive clear updates at each stage and a plain explanation of what was removed and why.
The firm's confidence in its results shows in how it charges. Respect Network engagements are success-based, which means clients pay for approved URLs rather than for hours spent or promises made. Every URL is evaluated before it is accepted, and clients are told plainly whether removal is realistic. That selectivity is a large part of why the firm's success rate is as high as it is, and it spares clients the cost and disappointment of chasing outcomes that were never likely.
"We would rather give someone an honest answer on day one than a hopeful one that falls apart on day thirty," Rivas said. "When we take a URL, it is because we believe in the case, and our results show that belief is well placed. Clients who come to us have usually spent weeks feeling powerless. Our job is to give them a process, a timeline, and a result."
The services are designed for private individuals facing harassment or exposure, executives and physicians confronting false allegations, small business owners dealing with coordinated attacks and fake reviews, and families trying to protect their privacy after personal information has been published without consent. In each case, the objective is the same: restore control over what the public sees when someone searches a name.
Respect Network's reputation also rests on its integrated approach. Removal is often the first step, and the firm supports clients with content strategy and search visibility work that helps rebuild a positive, accurate online presence once the damaging material is gone. The goal is not only to take the harmful post down but to ensure that what remains tells the right story.
As online platforms continue to shape how people are judged by employers, customers, neighbors, and courts, Respect Network expects demand for professional removal services to keep growing. The firm says it will continue to invest in platform expertise, documentation standards, and legal capability, with the aim of making its 90% success rate the benchmark for the industry.
