The Professional Travel Agents and Hotels Association (PTAHA), a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening India’s travel, tourism and hospitality ecosystem, has achieved a significant milestone by crossing 100+ members within just 27 days of its launch.
Marking this rapid growth, PTAHA has also announced the appointment of Mr. Rishi Deepak Budhadev as National President and Mr. Suresh Nair as Acting Vice President, further strengthening its national leadership and preparing the association for its next phase of expansion.
100+ Members in 27 Days
Crossing the 100-member milestone in only 27 days is a strong indication of the growing confidence and support that PTAHA is receiving from professionals across the travel and hospitality industry.
The association brings together travel agents, tour operators, hotels, resorts, DMCs and other tourism and hospitality professionals under one professional platform, with the objective of creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, business promotion, education and collective industry engagement.
PTAHA believes that its true strength is not simply the number of members, but the experience, relationships and contribution that each member brings to the association.
The association’s initiatives include participation and branding opportunities at major tourism trade fairs, member promotion, networking opportunities, webinars, educational and FAM trips, industry interactions, WhatsApp-based marketing initiatives and opportunities to connect with tourism boards, destinations, hotels and other industry stakeholders.
Rishi Deepak Budhadev Appointed National President
Mr. Rishi Deepak Budhadev has been appointed National President of PTAHA. He will lead the association as it expands its national presence and develops a stronger network of travel and hospitality professionals across India.
Under his leadership, PTAHA aims to establish and strengthen regional chapters, create meaningful business opportunities for members and develop strategic relationships with tourism boards, destinations, hotels, travel companies, trade-fair organisers and other stakeholders.
The association will continue working towards creating a platform where members can connect, collaborate, promote their businesses and grow together.
Suresh Nair Appointed Acting Vice President
PTAHA has also appointed Mr. Suresh Nair as Acting Vice President, adding further strength and experience to its national leadership team.
In this role, Mr. Nair will work alongside the national leadership to support member engagement, organisational development and expansion of PTAHA’s professional network across different regions.
His appointment reflects PTAHA’s commitment to building a strong leadership structure capable of supporting the association’s growing membership and expanding responsibilities.
Building a Stronger Tourism Community
