Her formative training included eight years under the guidance of the late Guru Raghunath Dutta and Guru Jyotshna Rani Sahoo. She subsequently continued her advanced training under prominent Odissi Guru Nityacharya Dr. Gajendra Kumar Panda at Tridhara, Bhubaneswar.
She has completed her Masters in Odissi Dance and has also contributed to the development of younger performers as an assistant Odissi teacher at Tridhara and other institutions.
Her classical credentials received an important national recognition when she was awarded the distinction of B Grade Artist of Doordarshan.

She subsequently entered professional human resources management and has been working as an HR Assistant Manager with People's Forum in Bhubaneswar since December 2025.
