Mumbai, India: Entrepreneur and businessman Mohan Paroha, best known for his association with real estate and business ventures, is expanding his entrepreneurial portfolio into the fast-evolving lifestyle and personal-care space with the launch of Contemprory — “Define Your Presence”.
The upcoming brand marks a new chapter in Paroha's business journey, moving from developing spaces and building businesses to creating consumer products designed to become part of everyday lifestyles.
Contemprory is being introduced with an initial focus on skincare and fragrance, bringing together two categories closely associated with personal care, self-expression and contemporary lifestyles.
From Real Estate to Consumer Lifestyle
Mohan Paroha's entrepreneurial journey has been primarily associated with real estate and business ventures. He is the Founder & Managing Director of Paroha Developers, with a business philosophy centered on modern living spaces, quality and customer experience.
His move into the lifestyle sector represents a shift towards a more direct consumer relationship. While real estate is about creating physical environments in which people live and experience their lives, lifestyle products become part of everyday personal routines. With Contemprory, the focus moves towards personal care, fragrance and individual expression.
A Brand Designed for the Contemporary Consumer
Consumer expectations are evolving rapidly. Skincare has become an important part of everyday self-care, while fragrance has moved beyond grooming to become an element of personal identity and lifestyle.
Contemprory is being positioned within this changing landscape as a brand aimed at a new generation of lifestyle consumers. Rather than approaching skincare and fragrance as completely separate categories, the brand intends to bring them together under a unified lifestyle identity.
PDRN-Led Skincare: Building a Distinct Product Story
A key part of Contemprory's skincare proposition is its focus on PDRN, giving the brand an opportunity to build a more distinctive product narrative within the increasingly competitive skincare category.
By communicating the skincare innovation clearly and consistently, Contemprory can establish a stronger connection between its brand identity and the product experience. The PDRN focus can become an important part of how consumers understand and recall the skincare range as the brand moves towards market entry.
More Than Skincare. More Than Fragrance.
The vision behind Contemprory extends beyond the launch of individual products. The brand is being developed around a broader lifestyle proposition encompassing personal care, contemporary living and self-expression.
Its initial categories of skincare and fragrance are intended to establish the foundation for a consumer brand that can evolve with changing lifestyles and preferences. As the brand moves towards launch, its skincare range, PDRN-led proposition, fragrance collection, visual identity and overall consumer experience will be important elements in translating this positioning into a distinctive market proposition.
A New Chapter in Mohan Paroha's Entrepreneurial Journey
For Mohan Paroha, Contemprory represents an expansion of his entrepreneurial interests into a category directly connected with modern consumer behaviour.
The move adds another dimension to his business journey—this time with a direct focus on consumers and the products they use as part of their everyday lifestyle. It also reflects a broader entrepreneurial approach: identifying emerging consumer categories and creating brands that can evolve alongside changing market expectations.
Looking Ahead
The launch of Contemprory marks the beginning of a new business chapter for Mohan Paroha. With skincare and fragrance forming the initial foundation, the brand aims to establish an identity around contemporary lifestyles, personal care and self-expression.
As the brand develops, separate narratives around its skincare innovation, including its PDRN focus, and its fragrance portfolio can further build awareness and recall around Contemprory as an independent lifestyle brand.
