Diwali gifting tends to follow a familiar rhythm. Sweets, dry fruits, candles and festive hampers arrive in abundance, are exchanged warmly, and are often gone before the season itself has passed.
With its festive campaign, “This Diwali, kuch yaad rehne wala dijiye,” the brand is positioning art as an alternative to conventional gifting, something that can remain in a home long after the diyas have been put away.
Its Diwali gifting collection brings together wall art, giclee canvas prints and framed artworks suited to different spaces and recipients, whether the gift is meant for family, friends, colleagues or corporate associates.
The idea is less about gifting décor for the sake of it and more about choosing something that feels considered. A framed artwork can sit above a dining table for years. A canvas chosen for someone’s new home can become part of the room they build around it. Unlike many festive gifts, art has the ability to settle into everyday life.
From Pichwai to Contemporary Prints
Established in 2016, MeriDeewar.com has developed a collection that moves between contemporary wall art and more culturally rooted styles.
Its catalogue includes decorative works, Indian classical art, Pichwai paintings, Abstract Painting and artworks inspired by Raja Ravi Varma, Amrita Sher Gil, M.V. Dhurandhar, Vincent Van Gogh, Calude Monet, Hiroshi Yoshida to name a few, alongside canvas and framed prints designed for modern interiors.
For customers and interior designers or an architect looking for something more personal, the brand also offers custom framing, personalised photo prints and photo restoration.
Much of the production is handled through MeriDeewar.com’s in-house Giclée printing facility, giving the company greater control over colour reproduction, detail and the finish of its fine-art prints. The brand also works with an artist-first approach, with the larger aim of helping artists reach wider audiences while making good-quality art easier to bring into Indian homes.
A Gift Chosen for the Person Receiving It
That personal element sits at the centre of the Diwali campaign.
Art is rarely a completely neutral gift. Choosing it often involves thinking about someone’s taste, the colours they live with, the kind of home they have created or even the memories a particular image might carry.
MeriDeewar.com is also offering festive deals across its collection to make art gifting accessible across different styles and budgets. For businesses, the platform provides corporate gifting and bulk-order options as well.
The campaign arrives at a time when festive gifting itself is becoming more considered. For many buyers, the question is no longer simply what can be sent, but what will still feel meaningful after the occasion has passed.
For MeriDeewar.com, the answer this Diwali is something that finds a place on the wall and gradually becomes part of the home around it.
