Kia India Expands Plastic Waste Management Initiative to Ghaziabad; Project D.R.O.P. Now Active Across 12 Cities

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 30: Amid growing concerns over plastic waste and urban waste management in India, automobile manufacturer Kia India has expanded its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Project D.R.O.P. (Develop Responsible Outlook for Plastic), to Ghaziabad. With the latest rollout, the initiative is now operational across 12 cities, strengthening efforts to promote responsible plastic waste collection and recycling through community participation.

The programme was launched at Amity International School, Vasundhara, where a D.R.O.P. Community Bin was inaugurated and a dedicated plastic waste collection vehicle was flagged off, marking the start of on-ground operations in the city.
