Jayanth Reddy International Taekwondo Academy and Suman Art Theatres Enter Guinness World Records with Historic Taekwondo Performance
HYDERABAD, August 9, 2026: In a remarkable achievement for Indian martial arts, Jayanth Reddy International Taekwondo Academy and Suman Art Theatres successfully created a Guinness World Record in Taekwondo, with 533 participants performing continuously for 35 minutes at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
The historic event brought together 533 Taekwondo practitioners for a synchronized and continuous display of Taekwondo techniques. The spectacular performance showcased the participants’ discipline, stamina, coordination, precision and determination, earning appreciation from those present at the venue.
Master Gajender guided and Instructor Abdul Khaleel taught the taekwondo basic techniques to the participants.
The record attempt was organised under the leadership of Grand Master M. Jayanth Reddy, with the support of Taekwondo masters Narayanan from Madurai, Anil Kumar (Grand Master Martial arts Academy), Master Ravi (Vestar Taekwondo Academy), Moin (Unique Taekwondo Academy), Master Subramanayam & Anjaneyulu (OMA Taekwondo Academy), Kavitha Taekwondo Academy, Master Shashank, Master Upender, Master Shaik Nasir & Rajiv Goud, Master Kalyan, Master Narasimha, Master John Kennedy, Master Ramu, Master Hanumanthu, Master Eshwar and other instructors, coaches, academies, participants, parents, volunteers and event supporters.
The large-scale performance demonstrated the spirit of unity and teamwork among Taekwondo practitioners from diverse backgrounds. Coordinating 533 participants in a continuous 35-minute performance required extensive preparation, rigorous training, discipline and collective effort.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to every participant, master, coach, parent and volunteer who contributed to the success of the event. They described the achievement as a proud moment for Indian Taekwondo and said it would inspire young martial artists to pursue excellence through discipline, dedication and perseverance.
