HIGH – The Duo Bringing the Himalayas to Pop Music

Unlike most artists who write and record in urban studios, HIGH follows a completely different approach. Each year, the duo retreats to the mountains for two months, allowing the wilderness to shape their sound. Their most profound moments of creativity are born amidst the silence of the cliffs and the whispers of the winds.

Their latest single, AARZOO, is a prime example of this creative process. Binsar’s dense forests and the spiritual aura of Kasar Devi Temple served as the perfect muse, helping them compose a melody that resonates deeply with nature and the soul.

HIGH is set to release 12 singles this year, each inspired by different landscapes across India. Whether it's the misty hills of Himachal, the vibrant deserts of Rajasthan, or the lush backwaters of Kerala, their travels are shaping a sound that’s uniquely their own.

Meet the Artists

Risshi S Sachdeva is an Australian-educated singer-songwriter, guitarist, and music producer, hailed as one of India’s finest guitarists. He also leads SYNCOPATION, a renowned jazz-funk band. Swapnalie Sachddev, a classically trained vocalist, brings deep musical sensibilities and a wealth of experience from working on India’s biggest TV music shows.
