LUCKNOW — When Late Mrs. Jyoti Singh set up Decoruss in 2010, the aim was to change how homes and commercial spaces look and work through careful design and decoration. Today the company is led by Shaurya Pratap Singh and presents itself as an interior designer in Lucknow that also handles modular customised furniture and turnkey execution for apartments, villas and selected commercial spaces.
Decoruss describes itself as a Lucknow-based interior design company, interior decorator and turnkey execution firm. Its services run from space planning and 2D AutoCAD drawings to 3D visualisation, modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, wall panelling and curtains. The company says it is ISO-certified, MSME-registered and GST-registered.
The present owner continues to develop the studio's interior design, modular furniture and turnkey services, and the company describes his role as hands-on, covering client consultations, planning and the progress of work on site. Its tagline is "Transforming Spaces Into Beautiful Experiences."
Work Across Lucknow and Nearby Cities
As a residential interior designer in Lucknow, the firm lists completed homes in societies such as Eldeco City, Shalimar One World and Omaxe Palace, carried out for individual clients with no formal link to the developers. It also works in nearby cities across Uttar Pradesh, including Kanpur and Ayodhya. The company reports an interior design award presented by actress Neha Dhupia at an event associated with Noida Film City.
For homeowners in Lucknow's apartment towers and villas, the practical appeal of a single firm that designs and executes is fewer handovers between designer, carpenter and finishing crews. Decoruss says its work includes material selection, a bill of quantities and quotation, site supervision and a final handover, so a client deals with one team from first sketch to finished rooms.
Interior design in Lucknow is shaped by how families live: joint households that need generous storage, compact apartments where every wall must earn its place, and a climate that rewards materials suited to humid summers and cooler winters. A studio operating since 2010 has watched tastes shift from heavy, closed layouts towards lighter plans with concealed storage and layered lighting, and the company says its work reflects that change.
Clients often ask what a full-service engagement looks like. Decoruss describes a sequence that starts with a consultation, moves through layouts and drawings, and then fixes materials and finishes in a specification before fabrication begins. Because the studio also handles modular furniture, ceilings and decorative work, details such as socket positions, light points and cabinet depths can be settled together rather than negotiated between separate vendors. Selected commercial interiors, such as offices, follow the same method on a smaller scale. Decoruss maintains official profiles on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, and its studio is listed on Google Maps.
Lucknow homeowners also weigh timelines. Wardrobes, kitchens and ceilings are made to measure, so lead times depend on drawings being approved early, and the studio's staged process is built around that dependency.
