Nitin Udmale and the Rural India Perspective
The vision behind Filmytell is closely connected with the professional journey of its founder Nitin Udmale.
An agriculture graduate from Maharashtra, Udmale was selected as a Class-One Officer through MPSC before choosing to resign and pursue entrepreneurship. He later spent nearly four years with BP Energy in business management.
His experience across villages, small towns and emerging markets gave him exposure to rural consumer behaviour, aspirations and entertainment preferences. This understanding became an important influence behind the Filmytell concept.
