In the evolving world of Indian fashion photography, Bangalore-based photographer Dheeraj Cukke is steadily carving a distinct identity through his refined visual language, cinematic compositions, and editorial precision. Originally from Mysore, Karnataka, Dheeraj has emerged as one of the promising creative names redefining contemporary runway and fashion storytelling across South India.
With a portfolio spanning some of the region’s leading fashion platforms including Bangalore Fashion Week, Bangalore Times Fashion Week, Mysore Times Fashion Week, Heritage Runway Show, and multiple designer showcases, Dheeraj has become widely recognized for his ability to capture movement, garment detailing, stage energy, and expressions with exceptional clarity and sophistication. His work reflects a luxury-inspired aesthetic influenced by global fashion campaigns and modern editorial standards.
Expanding far beyond runway documentation, Dheeraj Cukke has also worked extensively on couture editorials, celebrity features, commercial campaigns, and high-concept fashion productions. One of his recent editorial projects, A Vision of Timeless Fashion, featuring renowned South Indian runway model Sahana, has drawn significant attention for its elegant visual storytelling and premium fashion presentation.
Sahana, known for her appearances at Bangalore Times Fashion Week, Mumbai Times Fashion Week, IGCW, Bangalore Fashion Week, and numerous editorial and brand campaigns across India, brought grace and presence to the production through a carefully curated couture presentation centered around a richly embroidered saree.
The creative concept for the editorial was developed by Akashay Rao, while styling execution was led by Chaitrashree, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern fashion sensibilities. The couture saree, designed in luxurious royal blue, emerald, silver, and violet tones with intricate embellishments and mirror detailing, became the visual centerpiece of the project.
Shot by Dheeraj.cukke against a soft neutral backdrop, the editorial focused heavily on texture, draping, lighting precision, and visual balance. The imagery highlighted not only the richness of the garment but also the emotional depth and elegance of the overall composition.
A defining aspect of the project was its premium post-production quality and editorial retouching. Fine detailing across embroidery textures, jewelry reflections, skin tone balance, and cinematic color grading was meticulously refined to achieve an international high-fashion magazine aesthetic. The result was a polished visual experience comparable to luxury global editorial standards.
The beauty direction further elevated the production through flawless makeup artistry by Shruthagowda and sophisticated hairstyling by Shalini Mahadev, both of whom played a significant role in enhancing the timeless and graceful visual appeal of the editorial.
The project additionally featured editorial finishing by Click Basya (Bhaskar), cinematic videography by Rahul CR, and digital creative support by Chaithyana Sudhakar, who also manages the growing digital presence of the Dheeraj.cukke Photography brand. Recently joining the expanding creative team are Abhishek Gowda and Mayank Chauhan, adding fresh collaborative energy to the brand’s evolving creative vision.
Further strengthening Dheeraj Cukke’s growing international recognition, the same editorial project has been accepted by several fashion magazines across London, Italy, and France. With publication exposure extending across India, Paris, New York, France, Denmark, London, and Italy, Dheeraj continues to establish himself as one of the emerging names shaping the future of contemporary Indian fashion and editorial photography.
As fashion photography in India increasingly moves toward globally aligned storytelling and luxury visual presentation, Dheeraj Cukke’s work stands out for its balance of artistic discipline, editorial sophistication, and cinematic creativity.
