Indian Film & Television Choreographers Association is an active association since 1975 & from last few years IFTCA has started appreciating choreographers for their achievements in the feild of choreography, Recently there was a function organised by IFTCA where few of our well known choreographers were honoured for their achievements and choreographer Sagar Das was one of them, Sagar Das received an IFTCA appreciation award for one of his regional songs which was a huge hit in the Marathi industry, Choreographer Sagar Das who’s known for his hard hitting debut as a choreographer in the superhit film “Chak De India” is also much known to direct & choreograph the most technically challenging songs, not only in hindi films but also in the regional film
Last year Choreographer Sagar Das had won the prestigious “DadaSaheb Phalke Award” for choreography & this year he receives the renowned IFTCA award, which is a dream come true for any choreographer as it comes from their own fraternity, Choreographers Ganesh Acharya.ji, Bosco-Ceaser, Prince Gupta, Umesh Jhadav & Kruti Mahesh were also in the list of these extra-ordinary league of choreographers who were felicitated with the IFTCA award the same night
