Runable is aimed at a much wider audience. Kumar is co-founder and CEO, and he runs the company with co-founder and CTO Saksham Sarda. The platform covers AI-assisted creation, website publishing and tools for running a business.
The move raises a question that many AI software companies now face: how much of the work of running a business can one product handle? Building a website or creating content is only the first step. Keeping the site up to date, reaching customers and handling everything that follows are different problems.
For a small business, that work is usually spread across several services and several people. AI could cut down some of that juggling, but a tool is only as useful as the work it can do reliably.
That puts Runable in a very different position from SkoolStream. Education software served a clearly defined group of users with established routines. An AI platform for all kinds of businesses has to handle a far wider range of requests.
The $21 million round opens a new stage in Kumar’s career. It also sharpens a question every product faces: will customers keep using it once the novelty wears off?
Kumar has gone from software for educators to AI tools for running a business. The market has changed, but his focus hasn’t: technology that people put to practical use.
