Kannur, Kerala: At an age when most students are focused on school assignments and examinations, Akshath S, a Class X student from Ramanthali in Kerala's Kannur district, has taken a different path by becoming a published author. Through his debut book, When the World Went Silent, the young writer hopes to inspire children and teenagers to explore the world of books, creativity, and imagination.

Born on 4 April 2011, Akshath studies at Shenoy Smaraka Government Higher Secondary School (SSGHSS), Payyanur. He has developed an interest in literature, storytelling, leadership, community service, and creative writing from an early age. These interests eventually led him to write his first book, reflecting his observations, imagination, and passion for meaningful stories.

A Young Voice with a Passion for Storytelling

Writing a book at a young age is a milestone that requires discipline, curiosity, and commitment. For Akshath, storytelling became a way to express ideas and encourage readers to think beyond everyday experiences.

He also shares a close bond with his elder brother, Ashish S, whose encouragement and companionship have been an important part of his personal journey. Together with the support of his family, Akshath has been able to pursue his passion for literature while continuing his academic studies.
