India has witnessed significant growth in digital content consumption over the past few years. Affordable data services and increasing smartphone penetration have played a major role in expanding the reach of video content across audiences. Amid this rapidly evolving digital landscape, ‘World Premium’, an India-based video-sharing platform, is working towards strengthening its presence with a creator-focused model.
In a video platform space dominated by established players such as YouTube, building a distinct identity is often considered challenging for emerging platforms. In this context, World Premium is developing a framework that integrates content discovery, audience engagement, and monetization within a unified ecosystem.
The platform is led by CEO Grishhya Suresh. According to the company, its objective is to create a digital environment where creators can access more stable and structured growth opportunities beyond algorithm-driven uncertainty.
World Premium supports both short-form and long-form video content. The platform is also working on a curated discovery and structured visibility system aimed at making content reach more balanced and consistent.
The platform includes an in-house advertising infrastructure designed to enable direct collaboration between brands and creators. The company states that this could make monetization processes more transparent while allowing campaign management to be handled within the platform ecosystem.
With the demand for regional-language content continuing to grow in India, the platform has also emphasized multilingual support. This is intended to help creators producing content in different languages connect with wider audiences.
According to the company, the number of creators and overall user engagement on the platform have been witnessing gradual growth. Alongside this, the platform is also focusing on onboarding creators from different parts of the country.
World Premium has been developed under Singhaniya Royal Group (SRG), founded by entrepreneur Rudrana Singh. The platform’s strategic direction and operations are being led by Suresh, with development aligned to changing user behaviour and global content trends.
The company’s strategy is not limited to the Indian market alone, as it is also focusing on expanding its reach to international audiences. Currently, the platform is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store and remains in its early stage of expansion.
Going forward, the company is also exploring opportunities to expand into additional content verticals, including digital media and related ecosystem segments.
Industry observers believe that platforms combining structured monetization with a creator-focused approach could play an important role in the next phase of the digital economy. World Premium is also working towards strengthening its presence in this direction.
