Rajasthan witnessed a historic celebration of martial strength and unity as the 9th National Hapkido Championship 2025 brought together 500 selected athletes from 15 states, showcasing India’s finest Hapkido talent on a national platform.
As the event commenced, Hanshi Premjit Sen, President of the Hapkido Federation of India (HFI), inspired every competitor with his powerful opening message:

Under his dynamic leadership, Hapkido in India has witnessed unprecedented growth, with increased national participation, structural development, and a strong focus on technical excellence. His continuous efforts—ranging from athlete development, national programs, federation expansion, and international collaboration—have significantly elevated HFI’s presence across the country. The 9th National Championship stands as a shining example of his vision to take Indian Hapkido to global heights.
Standing alongside him, Master Rajnesh Choudhury, General Secretary of HFI, has played a pivotal role in strengthening the federation’s operations and competitive structure. Known for his disciplined working style and deep commitment to athlete and referee development, he shared a motivating message:

His efficient coordination and leadership ensured that the championship maintained top-class professionalism, fairness, and technical precision.
This year’s championship was hosted with exceptional dedication by the Hapkido Development Association of Rajasthan, led by Ms. Anita Malav, General Secretary, along with her hardworking team. Their efforts, hospitality, and seamless organisation played a major role in making the event a grand success.
Tournament operations were executed with excellent discipline and fairness under the guidance of Master Vinod Vats, Chairman – Referee Council, Hapkido Federation of India, and his capable team, ensuring transparent and high-quality officiating.
A special mention goes to Master Indronil Das, whose technical expertise significantly enriched the championship. His guidance in demonstrating and teaching the core technical aspects of Hapkido brought a higher level of precision to the athletes’ performance.
From intense bouts to captivating demonstrations, the championship showcased not only the strength of the participants but also the united vision of HFI leadership—to promote Hapkido across India and build a generation of disciplined, confident, and technically skilled martial artists.
