Founded in 2023 by Ranjit Nair at the age of 25, a young heart with old soul .The Kerala Table began with a simple but powerful idea: to serve authentic Kerala food that feels honest, rooted, and full of memory. Born and raised in Mumbai, Ranjit grew up between two worlds the fast-moving energy of the city and the deep culinary traditions of South India.
With his father’s roots in Thrissur, Ranjit’s childhood was filled with the aromas of roasted spices, fresh curry leaves, coconut oil, slow-cooked curries, and home-style seafood preparations. These early experiences shaped his love for Malabar cuisine and inspired him to create a dining space where every dish carries the warmth of a coastal Kerala kitchen.
While Mumbai offers endless dining choices, Ranjit felt that truly authentic South Indian food, especially bold and traditional Kerala seafood, was still hard to find. The Kerala Table was created to fill that gap by bringing real Malabar flavours, fresh ingredients, and carefully prepared recipes to people searching for the best South Indian food in Navi Mumbai.
At The Kerala Table, the flavours are not diluted. From fiery seafood curries and comforting coconut-based gravies to traditional banana-leaf meals and signature Malabar cuisine, every plate is prepared with respect for Kerala’s food culture.
