Chandigarh, August 14, Private bus operators in Punjab have called off their proposed protest after Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar agreed to consider their legitimate demands sympathetically.
The two ministers held a meeting with the private operators at Punjab Bhawan where their demands were examined one by one. The Ministers assured them, that the government is sincere and wants to develop the state by taking along all sections of society.
