According to tradition, the doors of the temple of Lord Mahakal opened on Tuesday night at 2:45 pm on Mahashivratri. After this, the priests performed Panchamrita Abhishek puja of Lord Mahakal. Mahant Vineetgiriji Maharaj of Mahanirvani Akhara offered ashes to the Lord. After this, aarti was performed by offering bhog to the deity. The general darshan started from 5:30 in the morning. Lakhs of devotees were seen on this occasion. On this Mahashivratri festival, after getting the darshan of Jyotirling Mahakal in the temple, Chief Editor of Gondia Dainik Kashish newspaper, Shammi Jaiswal and CEO of Cyber3ra, Mr Adarsh Kant met Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling Ujjain as the blessings of the Bharatiya Janata Party's cabinet minister, Madhya Pradesh's Education Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at his residence. At the same time, during the meeting, there was an extended discussion about the future plan. The minister encouraged the chief editor Shammi Jaiswal and Adarsh Kant and talked about supporting him in every plan in future.
