According to organisers, semifinal rounds will be held in Pune, Kolkata, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi, with the Grand Finale set to take place in the capital next year.
CDF Venture officials said the geographic spread of semifinal locations aims to ensure that participants from different parts of the country can engage with the competition without needing to travel long distances. The organising committee emphasised that the approach is intended to create a wider and more regionally balanced pool of contestants.
Online Semifinals Added for Greater Accessibility
In addition to the on-ground rounds, organisers have introduced an online semifinal mode, enabling applicants unable to attend physical venues to continue in the competition. This hybrid model is expected to benefit working professionals, students and participants from remote areas where travel may be difficult.
Managing Director Ayush Sharma said the inclusion of online semifinals reflects evolving participation trends. “We’ve seen strong responses to digital audition formats in earlier years. Providing both options gives applicants freedom and removes unnecessary barriers,” he stated.
The audition window will remain open for several months, allowing participants to submit entries at their convenience. Select applicants from nearby Asian countries will also be eligible to compete.
Initial Judges Announced for the 2026 Panel
CDF Venture has confirmed that Prince Narula and Nehal Chudasama will serve as judges for the 2026 edition. Narula, known for his long association with reality television, will bring experience from his work across multiple youth and entertainment shows. Chudasama, a recognised model with national visibility, is expected to contribute insights related to grooming, discipline and on-stage performance.
Organisers say additional jury members from the television and Bollywood industries will be introduced at a later stage. The gradual revelation of the judging panel, they explain, is meant to keep attention directed toward the auditioning contestants during the early phase of the competition.
Contest Drops Height Requirements for the First Time
One of the most significant changes to the 2026 competition is the removal of height eligibility criteria — a decision organisers say is intended to make the platform more inclusive and reflective of present-day entertainment trends.
Event director Sunny Verma stated that height is no longer a defining parameter for many modern casting opportunities. “Today’s entertainment industry, especially television and OTT, values presence, talent and individuality. We wanted the competition to be accessible to those who may not meet traditional modelling standards but have strong potential,” he said.
The decision has already attracted attention online, particularly among younger aspirants who previously believed that height restrictions would prevent them from participating.
Expanding Career Pathways and Learning Opportunities
CDF Venture has announced a prize allocation of ₹5–10 lakh, divided across multiple categories. In addition to the prize money, organisers say the event will create exposure opportunities for contestants through interactions with professionals from modelling, digital entertainment and casting networks.
The competition will also offer event-management internships during the semifinal and finale stages. These internships will be open to young individuals who wish to gain practical experience in backstage coordination, production and live event operations. Organisers say the internships are intended to serve as a training ground for those interested in careers behind the scenes.
Backed by a Structured Organising Team
The 2026 edition is being led by Sunny Verma, with key operational oversight from Ayush Sharma. The organising team includes Harish Pekha, team member Diksha Mehra, and political supporter Rajveer Jindal.
According to CDF Venture, the organising structure has been strengthened this year to manage the larger audition network, increased applicant volume and hybrid participation model.

Since the audition announcement, organisers have observed growing engagement across social media platforms, with interest coming from aspirants in both urban centres and smaller towns. Posts from regions including Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, West Bengal, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, and the Northeast indicate that the competition is drawing attention from a wide demographic.
Fashion and entertainment observers say that the removal of height criteria, combined with the online audition and semifinal system, may lead to one of the largest contestant pools seen in recent editions of similar national competitions.
