As they reminisced about their Punjabi roots, they realized how many traditional dishes had faded from memory. This sparked the idea to revive those long-lost recipes and celebrate the rich, cross-cultural heritage of Punjab.
The undivided Punjab menu brings to life forgotten flavours from the kitchens of pre-partition cities like Lahore, Amritsar, and Rawalpindi. The dishes include authentic curries, pulav, kebabs, and breads from before the tandoor as we know it. Influenced by Greek, Persian, Moorish, and British cuisines, these dishes tell stories of a Punjab that once knew no borders.

To see it resonate with people across cities has been incredibly moving. This is the final showcase in Mumbai, an ode to the recipes long lost in time across the borders.”

Hosted at Ishaara, an award-winning restaurant recognized by the Times Food & Nightlife Awards and NDTV, this is a last chance to experience the flavours that have captured hearts across the country.
