His journey from humble beginnings in Kanpur to leading India’s new wave of content creation and brand innovation is a story of courage, grit, and unstoppable passion.
Raised in a modest Sindhi family, Hunny began working at the age of 11 while nurturing his dreams of performing. Though he enrolled in Computer Science at Jhulelal Institute of Technology, his artistic calling led him to drop out in the fourth year. That leap of faith laid the foundation of a remarkable journey.
From the beginning, Hunny brought originality and energy to every space he entered. His creative voyage took him across countries like Dubai, Uganda, Thailand, and Ethiopia, where he collaborated with global artists, directed large-scale performances, and promoted Indian talent. But his heart remained rooted in India, especially in Nagpur, where he became a youth icon by the age of 18.
He founded HK Dance and Art Studio, a pioneering platform that trained over 10,000 students in acting, dance, fitness, and martial arts. Simultaneously, he expanded his ventures with HK Gymnasium and a kindergarten, empowering young minds through holistic education and physical development.
With a natural flair for storytelling and deep insight into branding, Hunny stepped into marketing strategy and content direction. He launched Insider Media & Entertainment, a one-stop creative house producing TV shows, OTT content, music videos, and brand films. As a writer and director, he crafts compelling narratives that blend emotional resonance with commercial success. As an acting coach, he has mentored countless performers and collaborated with top OTT platforms, shaping India’s next generation of screen talent.
His marketing expertise has helped numerous startups and companies develop strong, relatable brands. Known for his 360-degree creative approach, Hunny brings together content, branding, and performance under one roof. One of his ongoing professional roles includes serving as Chief Marketing Officer of ReraProperty.com, a fast-growing real estate startup. This adds a corporate dimension to his vast creative repertoire.
Hunny’s influence extends to social causes as well. He played a key role in developing a mobile app for awareness and prevention of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease in collaboration with the Maharashtra Medical Council and the Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society of India. This innovative health-tech initiative earned him an award from RSS Chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat.
He is also a certified cybercrime investigator who has worked with Maharashtra Police on digital crime awareness. His dedication to public impact has been recognized by the Nagpur Police Commissioner and various civic bodies.
The COVID-19 pandemic hit hard, shutting down his businesses and leaving his team displaced. But Hunny’s resilience stood tall. From hospital work to media events, he rebuilt from scratch, channeling every setback into a stronger comeback. That phase shaped his deeper understanding of survival, mental health, and human strength.
Today, he continues to lead with vision and purpose through Insider Media & Entertainment. He is mentoring, directing, strategizing, and building the next wave of India’s creative talent. His dream is to establish a creative school where artists can explore film, performance, and innovation without boundaries or fear. Hunny Khattar is not defined by a title but by transformation.
