His move into the financial world began on January 11, 2020, when he entered the stock market after being inspired by stories of legendary investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. Like most beginners, Rochit ventured into intraday and swing trading. The result: losses. These early setbacks were humbling but also taught him more about the market than any textbook could. The turning point came in 2022 during a period of market consolidation. Rochit began comparing his trading outcomes with what he could have earned simply by investing long-term in index funds or widely trusted companies. The realization was clear: long-term investing was not only more stable but also more rewarding.
This moment led him to make a strong decision: He quit trading entirely and committed himself to long-term investing.
