Born in a modest family in Bihar—a land once renowned for Nalanda, Vikramshila, and Chanakya’s wisdom—Vivek grew up amid challenges that starkly contrasted with the state’s glorious past.
His early education took place in an overcrowded village school with limited resources. Yet, his sharp mind, especially in mathematics, stood out. Later, he moved to Patna to pursue higher studies and joined the wave of young aspirants preparing for government jobs.
The Rat Race & A Bold Decision
Like thousands of others, Vivek devoted three years to preparing for competitive exams. However, the monotony and uncertainty of this path pushed him to reflect deeply.
In 2017, he made a life-changing decision—to step out of the “secure” government job race and carve his own destiny in business.
First Struggles in Business
Vivek began by taking a pharmaceutical franchise. Every day, he rode nearly 150 km on his bike, persuading shopkeepers to stock his products. Rejections were frequent and harsh, often leaving him in tears.
But persistence paid off. After nine months of struggle, his efforts bore fruit, and sales began to grow. Alongside, he taught IIT-JEE aspirants online, balancing survival with passion. Still, he longed for something greater.
Discovering International Trade
The turning point came when Vivek discovered the vast opportunities in global trade. Though he lacked background or experience, he immersed himself in research, webinars, and learning the nuances of exports.
His journey took a decisive turn when he met mentor Kavit Ashwin Shah, who guided him through the complexities of international trade. Under his mentorship, Vivek mastered buyer identification, negotiations, and building trust in global markets.
