Dr. G. Vijay Kumar Yadav, Bengaluru-Based Artist, Selected for Aryabhatta Award 2025
Bengaluru: Dr. G. Vijay Kumar Yadav, a renowned artist from Bengaluru, has been selected for the prestigious Aryabhatta Award 2025 in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field of art. Dr. Vijay gained national attention for his sketching of the Rameshwaram Café bomb blast suspects, which played a crucial role in the investigation.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav has previously received commendation from Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, and Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, for his outstanding paintings and artistic contributions. Apart from his artistic achievements, he is also the founder of “Art of Heart”, an organization based in Malleshwaram, where he teaches art to individuals passionate about creative expression.
