Dr. Avnish Rahi received "Bharat Vibhushan" National Award in Delhi Legislative Assembly
New Delhi [India], November 25: Senior and renowned litterateur, educationist and lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi, decorated with the honorary degree of Vidya Vachaspati Doctorate of Aligarh, was honoured with the national award "Bharat Vibhushan-2024" by the hands of Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Hon'ble Ram Niwas Goyal in the Chief Minister's Auditorium of Delhi Legislative Assembly, New Delhi. In which the Legislative Assembly Speaker honoured lyricist Dr. Rahi by presenting him with a medal, "Bharat Vibhushan Memorial" and a shawl along with a copper plate.
Under the aegis of the Institute of Social Reform and Higher Education Charitable Trust, this national honour has been given to lyricist Dr Avnish Rahi for his literary excellence in promoting national values and heritage at national and international levels. The entire India, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Bihar, was represented in the programme. Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goyal, who was present as the chief guest on this occasion, said that literature is not only a mirror of society, but it is also a lamp which draws the attention of society towards its evils and presents the form of an ideal society. In this context, the literature of lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi is "Samaj ki Dharohar", which works to connect man to man by attacking the evils and bad habits prevalent in society
