Dr. Archana Shailesh Patel was born on April 28, 1976, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Growing up in a culturally rich environment, she developed a deep appreciation for Indian culture, which would later influence her literary pursuits. Her hometown is Dholka but she stayed in Manavadar till 8 after that she stayed in Ahmedabad. Her early life laid the foundation for her multifaceted personality, which would eventually blossom into a successful career as an entrepreneur, writer, motivational speaker, and dedicated animal rescuer.
Education
Dr. Archana Patel’s educational background includes schooling at KameshwarVidhyalaya in Ahmedabad. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts with a focus on Indian Culture from HK Arts College, Ahmedabad, under Gujarat University. Additionally, she has a Diploma in Nursing from Ahmedabad Para Medical College. Her educational pursuits also include a Drama Direction Workshop by INT (Indian National Theatre) and various animal care-related web-based courses by VETMEDUX and Clinician’s Brief.

Dr. Archana Patel’s career is a testament to her versatility and dedication. She is an entrepreneur, serving as the proprietor of Radhika Tobacco Works, a tobacco products business. As a freelance writer, she has published several books in Gujarati, showcasing her literary talent. Dr. Patel is also a motivational speaker, inspiring others through her words and experiences. Moreover, she is a passionate volunteer reptile rescuer with 32 years of experience, working tirelessly to save reptiles and domestic wild and stray animals. Her career also encompasses media and the arts, having worked in theatre, TV, and as a vocal artist, including published TV serials and a successful stint with All India Radio.

She was awarded the RashtriyaPratishthaPuraskar (2022) for her rescue work, Honorary Doctorate Awards (2025) as an author and in Primary Care as a rescuer, and the Indian Visionary Award (2025) as a Real Hero. Additionally, she received the Women’s Empowerment Award (2025), Global Excellence Forum Award (2025) as a Reptile Rescuer, Doctorate in Reptile Rescue Techniques (2025), and the Rashtriya Shaurya Sanmaan (2025) as a Reptile Rescuer, recognized by various esteemed organizations and government ministries.
