Bengaluru Cultural Award Season 2: A Grand Celebration of Student Talent

A Chief Guest Who Inspired

Gracing the evening as the Chief Guest was Lt. Col. S.K. Divkara Naidu, whose powerful address set the tone for a night dedicated to passion, purpose, and artistic excellence. In his speech, he emphasized how cultural expression builds confidence, leadership, and unity among the youth—values that align closely with the mission of the awards.

The Jury memeber for the Bengaluru Cultural Award 2025 played an important role in this event in selecting the awardee based upon the achievement in the career artform and the cheif guest for the event to honour the students where notable personality in the bengaluru city who where present on the 31^st may  2025 to honour the students

A Distinguished Jury with Diverse Expertise

The winners were selected by an esteemed panel of jury members, each bringing unique perspectives and a strong legacy in the arts:

          •          Ruban M – Acclaimed theatre artist and scriptwriter, known for his compelling stage narratives.

          •          Vinaya Sheshan – Dynamic western dancer and a force in the contemporary dance scene.

          •          Brindha Ravi – Accomplished fashion model and actor, representing the blend of performance and style.

          •          Sudhir Rajkumar – Talented flutist and beatboxer, celebrated for his fusion performances.

          •          Jas Karan Singh – Gifted singer, whose vocal performances resonate across youth festivals.

          •          Sindagi – Skilled Indian style dancer, known for preserving and promoting traditional dance forms.

          •          Dr. Neelima Dubey – Respected cultural convenor and dancer, with decades of experience in mentoring student talent.

Each jury member contributed to a fair and insightful selection process that honored both performance quality and cultural impact.

The event saw participation from over 40 institutions across Bengaluru, making it one of the most diverse and inclusive platforms for student performers and creators.

A Youth-Led Cultural Movement

What set this edition apart was its powerful student involvement. The Rotaract Club of Ramaiah University played a central role in organizing, promoting, and managing the event, making it a true example of youth leadership in action. From set design to backstage coordination, student volunteers ensured the show was professional, engaging, and community-focused.

“This platform is about more than recognition—it’s about representation,” said one of the Rotaract organizers. “We are giving voice to cultural champions who keep the spirit of the arts alive on campus.”

A Grand Finale to Remember

The Event concluded with high-energy performances, heartfelt winner speeches, and electrifying musical and dance acts that left the audience inspired. Former awardees also returned to the stage to perform and share how this platform has helped elevate their journey in the cultural space.
