In his new role as State Chairman, Mr. Loyalka will steer strategic initiatives designed to modernize regional energy systems, improve grid resilience, and support India’s broader green-growth mandate. Under his leadership, the committee’s agenda will focus on four core pillars:
Energy Transition & Sustainability: Accelerating the deployment of commercial, industrial, and residential rooftop solar solutions across urban centers and rural corridors in Karnataka.
Power Grid Safety & Standards: Partnering with regional regulatory bodies and utility providers to enforce stringent safety benchmarks, comprehensive lightning mitigation, and reliable grounding architectures.
Public-Private Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitating structured dialogue between independent power producers, state authorities, engineering institutions, and industrial leaders to resolve grid reliability challenges and accelerate modernization.
Policy Advocacy & MSME Support: Championing pragmatic energy-efficiency policies and scalable clean-power incentives tailored to small- and mid-scale enterprises.
Karnataka continues to be a driving force for India's technological and industrial growth, and a secure, forward-looking power infrastructure is essential to sustaining that momentum," stated Mr. Natwar Loyalka upon assuming the role. To execute this mandate, the committee will initiate a series of state-wide technical symposiums, industrial safety compliance forums, and capacity-building workshops. These programs will provide actionable roadmaps for enterprises navigating the dual imperatives of decarbonization and operational safety.
Mr. Loyalka’s appointment marks an important step in AACCI’s broader mission to cultivate cross-border trade, foster knowledge transfer, and build resilient infrastructure networks across the Asian and African economic corridors.
