We all have ideas. Good, bad, ugly. But they are there. The trick is to filter the good ones from the bad ones. That happens when you start building on that idea, says author Sugandha Pallan who recently released her debut novel ‘Where the Dead Come Alive’ at a ceremony in Delhi’s India International Centre.
Many bestselling authors from all over the country participated and talked about the books they wrote, during the event. The event was organised by Ukiyoto Publishing which published Sugandha’s novel.
According to the debutant author, to build on a particular idea, the writers should first analyse if their story is eligible to become a full-fledged novel. The best way to do that is to know exactly the climax of your story. Once the climax is sorted, you can build on to the events that would take you to that climax.
