Jai Dharti Maa Foundation operates in rural regions with the objective of transforming barren lands into fruitful landscapes and enhancing the livelihoods of farmers through the promotion of organic farming and government initiatives aimed at tribal communities. Over the course of 15 years, the foundation has been dedicated to environmental protection, rural development, and modern agricultural practices.
Ranjit kr and Ravi Kumar Nishad has been honoured with the Bharat Bhushan Puraskaar for his contributions to organic farming, as well as fruit and flower cultivation in Dhanbad. This recognition has brought prestige to both Jharkhand and the Jai Dharti Maa Foundation.
The foundation’s mission remains focused on ensuring that Jharkhand and farmers across the nation have access to all necessary resources, enabling India to expand its agricultural endeavours globally. The members of Jai Dharti Maa are filled with enthusiasm following the receipt of this national honour. Tribals, farmers, women, and youth have expressed their commitment to working diligently, excelling in agricultural training, and adhering to the guidance provided by Ravi Nishad.
Key members of the foundation include Sudhir Hemram, Md. Shamsher Ali (Raju), B.K. Sinha, Ritesh Sao, Rohit Kewat, Dukhan, Depak, Amit, and Hasan Raja.
The event featured speeches from esteemed guests, including Padma Shri Dr. Ram Chet Chaudhary of the Participatory Rural Development Foundation in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and Smti Yayum Gangkak, founder of Siru Rijo Tea and a prominent businesswoman form Arunachal Pradesh.
