Swiss International University Expands Globally with $21.7 Million Acquisition Across Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan

Swiss International University takes the global mainstream with a $21.7 million acquisition of four elitist academies.

Swiss International University acquires four premium academies in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan for $21.7 million to strengthen its global education network. One of the other major acquires is the International Academy in Zurich, established in 2013 as Switzerland’s first virtual institute. In 2016, the academy was allowed EFMD online certification along with approvals received from ASIC, which is a UK government-approved accrediting body, as well as ECLBS Accreditation that has been permitted by CHEA USA and INQAAHE Europe. The focus of the academy on virtual education is well aligned with that of Swiss International University, where technology and academic excellence come together in partnership to provide accessible and flexible options for students.

Swiss International University took over the International Business Management School (ISBM Ltd.), set up in 2016, in Luzern. This institution is ranked with a prestigious 5-star QS ranking and falls into the top 2% of higher education institutions worldwide. This institution is allowed by the Luzern Board of Education with the right to grant diplomas. The acquisition of ISBM furthers Swiss International University’s scope in business education and management training to form future leaders wielding superior business skills and strategies.

Approved by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority of Dubai, it can award government-approved diplomas up to Level 8, corresponding to a doctoral qualification.
