Ramesh Chaurasia talks about that vibrant community which stays on the margin between visible and invisible. This community plays a pivotal role in our country’s economy and continuation of cultural legacy. These people and their signatures adorn our lives, our homes, our bodies, and more. Yet, how many of us really talk about these men and women toiling so hard to keep the legacy alive and also make the ends meet for themselves? Be it the armchair activists, the modern-day influencers or even those who really want to make a difference, for a vast majority of people, our artisans and weavers hardly become a topic of discussion even in their drawing rooms.

Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia says, “Artisans have always played an essential part in India’s rich and diverse history, often by becoming the representatives of their respective landscapes and cultures. Historically, artisans from our country are known for their craftsmanship and genius work. Textiles from our country were exported through ancient trade routes to far off parts of the world including ancient Rome, Egypt, China and some other parts of Europe and Africa. The silk road and cotton route were used thousands of years ago to export huge quantities of silk and cotton via land and sea routes.”

The entrepreneur further says, “For an agrarian and a vastly rural based economy, after agriculture this segment perhaps employs the second largest majority of our work force. The artisan economy is so widespread that it directly and indirectly is the second largest generator of employment after the agriculture sector. According to some statistics, more than 50% of artisans belong to marginalized groups and this segment sees more engagement from rural women.”

We asked Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia where the artisan economy stands today in the modern landscape of a fast-growing India?

He says, “India is trying to meet the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations and if this sector is supported well, it can actually help us meet more than half of those goals because of the growth potential this sector has. With the government’s focus on self-employment and self-reliance, and many areas of this economy falling under MSME’s, we can use this sector as one of the fuels to run the engine of growth to take India forward.”

Talking about creating an environmentally sustainable economy which is the need of the hour for the whole world, he says, “Another important area where this sector becomes really important for us is in our desire to make our progress environmentally sustainable. When we are looking to find eco friendly alternatives to products right from the ones used in homes to those used in industries, many of the sectors from this economy can cater to this demand and revive our traditional occupations at the same time. The time is ripe to introduce modern technology, provide impetus for growth with financial support and micro finance so that these traditional occupations also become lucrative for our future generations.”

Many social enterprises and bigger companies are now working to introduce some aspects of the formal economy into this informal economy so that the best from both can provide a chance for scalability as well as allow the economy to meet the challenges of modern times. While there was a definite negative impact on the sector during the pandemic, post pandemic, the sector has seen a resurgence which has also been fuelled by digitalization. This is why we need to work on promoting digital literacy so that artisans are no longer limited by space and can fit in India’s dream of a more inclusive and levelled society.

The government of India has active schemes and initiatives for the development of this sector. Some of these schemes are Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana, Dastkar Shashktikaran Yojana, Mega Cluster Scheme, Marketing support and services scheme, and various schemes under the National Handicraft Development Programme. Along with this, financial support is also available through schemes like Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana. Ramesh Chaurasia is a social worker, businessman and philanthropist who works for the welfare of underprivileged communities in India and hopes for a bright future where more people in India are vocal for local.

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME’s) are an essential sector of the Indian economy. MSME’s are enterprises which are engaged in the production, processing, preservation and manufacturing of goods. The MSME sector is often called the backbone of the Indian economy.  

We talked to Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia about the importance of the MSME sector. He is a successful entrepreneur and businessman. He is a charismatic individual who is also known to work for the welfare of underprivileged communities in India. He speaks from his own experience of having learned how to build a business and also having helped several people start their own small businesses in rural as well as urban areas.

“As India moves further to become a global economic power, the contribution of MSME’s to the Indian GDP becomes even more central. The Indian government aims to increase the contribution of MSME’s to from almost 30% to 40% by the year 2025. While this might seem like an enormous task, I think we can achieve it if different sectors work together. Our government, financial institutions and banks will have to offer their support to MSME’s in order to help uplift India’s economy.”, the entrepreneur says.

Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia believes that MSME’s are responsible for promoting entrepreneurship among people and generate employment for millions of people. They are called the pillars of the Indian economy for a reason.

He believes that a growth rate of 10% would be required to reach the target. Unfortunately, this would not be possible without the contribution and support of the government and the banking sector. Although lending to MSME’s is considered to be high risk, bankers will have to provide the necessary resources to them.

We asked the visionary about the steps being taken by the government and MSME’s at present.

The entrepreneur says, “I am really glad that the government is working to digitalise the whole system of MSME administration so that it can be made quicker, result based and more transparent. The implementation of cluster-based technology along with training and research on what MSMEs are doing in various countries can also be a game changer for entrepreneurs. The right use of technology can also enable the use of e-marketplaces and digitalization in various processes.”

There are various schemes started by the government under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development act, 2006.

Gram Udyog Vikas Yojna – This is one of the schemes which are aimed to encourage village cottage industries like pottery making, bee keeping and incense making etc.

Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) – It is a bank driven scheme which is basically a credit linked subsidy program launched in order to generate more employment in rural and urban areas. Under this scheme, beneficiaries can get subsidies up to 35% of the total cost of the project.

Another useful scheme is the interest subvention scheme which is aimed to reduce the interest rate by up to 2% for legal MSME’s. “I think that our nation is one with the greatest potential. With the largest youngest population in the whole world, we can surely become an economic superpower with the right steps and strategies. The best thing we can do is work together and find ways to innovate MSME businesses with the use of technology. We need centralized and accessible training programmes to achieve collective technological advancement. Digitalization can offer the boost required to scale up MSME’s and the manufacturing process and more.”, Ramesh Chaurasia suggests ways to boost the contribution of MSME’s to India’s GDP, wrapping up the discussion on a positive and hopeful note.

The state of Assam is experiencing severe flooding again this year. More than a 100 people have lost their lives while more than 25 lakh people still remain affected. Almost three lakh people are currently in relief camps. Flooding in Assam is not uncommon and each year we see thousands of people getting displaced. Almost 8000 hectares of land is lost to flooding each year. The bigger problem here is that this is only getting worse.

Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia is a philanthropist, social worker and a successful businessman who has been working selflessly with his team for the upliftment of all vulnerable sections of society. He is also the president of the Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha, a pan India organization which aims to uplift all sections of the Chaurasia-Tamboli community.

We talked to Mr. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia about the currently ongoing tragedy.

He said, “This is a true human tragedy and I can only imagine the suffering that people have to go through during such times of crisis. I believe that the only way to help the people deal with this is to climate proof the economy and to create stronger development sectors. We have to ensure that we are prepared on both the state and the national level to deal with an annual phenomenon which is only getting worse as climate change causes temperatures to rise and change weather patterns.”

He added, “I believe that with unstable rainfall patterns, the risk of flooding and the threat to human life in both cities and rural areas is rising rapidly. We can see this each year in states like Bihar and Assam. I think that construction should be only allowed when combined with green infrastructure in flood prone areas. Human encroachment in high-risk areas should be cleared as much as possible. Rapid action forces should be kept on alert during this period. Relief programmes should be prepared in advance to deal with such a situation.”

He continued to talk about another risk which looms over high population cities.

He said, “We associate rainfall related flooding only to coastal areas but recently it is being observed that rainfall related flooding is becoming an equally dangerous risk in cities. Rainfall induced flooding is dangerous, it puts more people at risk because it is location independent and very unpredictable. The only way to deal with this is developing blue-green infrastructure and to reinforce the already existing infrastructure to help us deal with such situations in a better way. Scientist and policymakers should come together to deal with this.”

We talked to a senior volunteer and scientist who is associated with the organization. He told us a few things about what causes the flooding and what factors add to it.

“We know that Assam is a flood prone state with almost 40% of its area at risk of flooding. The Brahmaputra River brings along with it a lot of silt from the Himalayas and slows down in the plains of Assam, depositing all this silt which causes it to rise and flood and area. While this is a natural phenomenon, we have observed that climate change is adding to this. Man-made factors and climate change have only made the situation worse in low lying flood plains. A lot of construction has taken place in low lying areas which has brought more people. Wetland areas and local water bodies should be revived in Assam to improve the drainage system which can act as a possible exit for excess water and avoid water logging. For this to happen, human encroachment needs to be cleared from the high flood risk Brahmaputra floodplains.”

He added, “This is a human tragedy which has brought misery to lakhs of people living in the state. We should work together to fight this and help the people of the state in every way we can. This applies to policymakers and the general population and all relief groups.” The Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha works actively to spread awareness about various issues and also strives to help vulnerable sections of the society. Mr. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia and the team of the Mahasabha appeal to public at large to make donations and help in providing relief material to the affected areas.

At the young age of 20, when Ranjit was barely In the 3rd year of Architecture, he started a small Computer Training Centre by the name of “Computer Station Inc.” 

He scaled this one center institute to a hundred-plus Centre Chain spread across the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. In his career of 30 years, Ranjit has Scaled or Headed Different Education Companies like Computer Station Inc, Opportunities, Mothers Touch, Cyber Station, and British Learning. These Companies have collectively trained lacs of students till date.

Currently, Ranjit heads the Asia – Pacific Operations of one of the biggest edtech companies, which has thousands of students from over 27 countries. He plans to set up online cum physical classroom centers based on the Hybrid Model of education in over 200 major cities and India’s tier 1 and tier 2 cities.

Ranjit, as of date, is regarded as an authority in Education and is consulted by leading companies across the globe. He is also invited to speak in several education forums from time to time.

Ranjit believed in giving back to the Society, and even in his Personal capacity has initiated several large social projects across Mumbai & the Tribal Areas. 

He undertook an effective awareness campaign to save the Dying Dahisar river by using Art for the very first time. This won him accolades from the WATERMAN of India, Dr Rajendra Singh. In his personal capacity, Ranjit has trained over 500 girls from the Mangarodi slums (Leprosy Colony in Dahisar) in IT Skills and English Communication. 

Two large trees had to be cut down to construct a Public toilet outside Dahisar Railway Station. Ranjit accepted the Challenge and Constructed an Environmental friendly Toilet that Houses two large trees even today.

Ranjit has worked extensively in Tribal Regions around Mumbai in Medical and Education.

For his Social Initiatives, Ranjit has been Felicitated by the Mayor Of Mumbai, The Home Minister of Maharashtra, Different MPs, MLAs, and Corporators cutting across all political parties, environmentalists, and Philanthropic Personalities.

After Joining the Rotary Club of Mumbai Dahisar, Ranjit headed several Skill Development Centres for the Club and Headed a Unique Project to set up the First-ever Dental Clinic in the Tribal Village of Ranshet.

He has also been the Project chairman of several Eye camps, Dental Camps, and Various other rural and tribal projects initiated by the club. Ranjit is a Paul Harris Fellow and has won the Best Rotarian Award in his first year.

Ranjit has also been the All India General Secretary of one of the Largest NGOs working on Educational Reforms Across India. He is also on the Advisory Committee of Keshav Shrushti and continues to advise all their Education related projects across India. 

Ranjit has also served as a Mentor in the prestigious ATAL INCUBATION CENTER initiated by NITI AYOG (Government of India). He specialises in mentoring Entrepreneurs who have started their own Start-Ups or in Social Initiatives as well as Agro or Agro-Tourism based projects.

Ranjit is currently the District Avenue Director of Rotary District 3141 and heads the IT Innovation and Skill Development Centres Avenue. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia, the President of the Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha, dons many hats. He has been vocal about the rights and safety of the most vulnerable sections of the society. He spoke to us recently about the issues that tug at his heart. Child protection, education, and health are the issues he feels strongly about as children are our future carrying humankind forward. He believes that child labour and exploitation has been a social menace that needs to receive a lot of attention. Laws have been strengthened and social institutions too have come forward to tackle this problem. Things are better but we have not reached a point where one can show any laxity. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia and the Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha are doing their bit in fighting this demon heads on. The team works tirelessly in multiple segments related to child development to ensure that all children are provided the right guidance, information and protection for their well-being.

"The Indian constitution guarantees rights for children. They have as much right to live with dignity as any other age group. If you think about it, child labour is a direct attack on their rights. It is the children from the marginalised sections who suffer the most because they are also the most vulnerable." said Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia, "And it takes away the joy and passion out of their lives. As an organisation with a pan India presence, we are trying to educate children from the Chaurasia community about their rights. They need to be told that the Indian constitution safeguards their rights like the right to education, right to live with dignity, right to be protected from any dangerous occupation till the age of 18, while also giving them rights that adults have. Legal framework exists but due to lack of knowledge and lack of available help and resources, children from vulnerable sections often suffer. We want to ensure that not only do the children know their rights but adults know the legal repercussions of any exploitation."

It has been seen around the world and across societies that legal framework and provisions alone have never been sufficient to bring about a revolutionary change. More people have to be educated and made a part of a social movement. Better education, better employment opportunities, social measures, and provision of basic amenities can build a society where no one is exploited. Along with this, it is absolutely essential that communities and groups work together to ensure that no children are exploited anywhere. This does not just apply to employment but also applies at home or at school. Children are the most vulnerable section of the whole society and they must be protected in order to give shape to a strong, independent and patriotic generation. A senior member of the Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha also shared the vision of his organisation. He said, "The last two years restricted our on-ground activities to a great extent. But now we are again reviving the teams to reach out to the marginalised sections of the Chaurasia community. We aim to educate, train, and involve children in recreational activities. We want them to be ready to defend themselves while also preparing adult members to provide help and support to children of the community. We want to ensure that even adolescents are able to make a living in a dignified and non-hazardous manner while being safe from any kind of exploitation. We want to be fully equipped to provide them with remedial measures as and when needed. It is a difficult road to walk as it is a social problem where one may have to face opposition from close quarters as well. But when has social change ever been easy? With our leader Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia providing guidance, motivation and vision, we are going to nurture the children of the community to reach their potential and to weave happy dreams."

Almost two thirds of India’s rural population find their livelihood in agriculture. Unfortunately, it has been observed that the number of farmers is rapidly on the decline since the last few decades. This is due to many reasons. The modern generation doesn’t seem to show much interest in farming as a means of livelihood. This is a growing problem which many organizations are trying to tackle. The Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha, under the leadership of Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia has been actively working to resolve this issue.

We talked to Mr. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia, the national president of the organization about their vision, work and initiatives.

“We are trying to teach more farmers about the importance of soil conservation and sustainable agriculture. The excessive use of synthetic fertilizers has degraded the quality of the top soil. This is a cause of great concern since soil is the foundation of all life on earth. Without healthy soil, there can be no plants or food. If you look at it, our very existence depends upon how fertile our soil is. Modern agriculture started off with the heavy use of fertilizers to increase the production. But if we have to maintain a healthy ecological balance, we will have to ensure that we get back to our roots and use eco friendly methods of increasing production without polluting the earth. This is what we teach the farmers who attend our seminars and awareness camps. We motivate them to practice modern methods of farming like multi layer farming which can help them increase production and increase the quality of the yield. So far, we have seen great results. We are expecting rapid progress in this front in the next few years.” – Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia answered when we asked him about his initiatives regarding agriculture.

Multi layered farming is a modern method of farming where multiple crops are grown on the same piece of land. This is a very smart method of farming which can be hugely beneficial for the regular farmer who owns a very small piece of land. Most of the Indian farmers don’t own large fields and often have a limited space. With this method, they can grow multiple cash crops in the same area and increase their income. This method is also very eco friendly and saves water because crops are grown according to different heights so there is a canopy above the shorter plants which protects them from the sun and also helps conserve water due to less evaporation. A mini ecosystem is created and the risk of pests is also reduced. The farmers of the Chaurasia community have been associated with betel leaf farming since centuries. Due to the efforts of the Mahasabha and their team, more farmers from the community are showing interest in sustainable agriculture because they are getting better rates for organically grown produce.

We talked to another senior member of the organization about other initiatives related to farming and how they plan to uplift farmers from marginalized communities who have access to very little resources.

He said, “Our goal is not to just enable farmers to earn more money. We want to make their lives better and to secure the future of their future generations. If you go out today and ask the kids what they want to be when they grow up, hardly anyone will say that they want to take up farming. This is what we are trying to change. India has been historically an agrarian society and our farmers feed more than a billion people today. So, the question is not of demand, but of interest among the youth. We organize seminars for families who belong to marginalized communities where we bring local experts who educate them about the endless opportunities that lie within agriculture. There is great scope of employment and revenue for people who don’t have enough exposure or education to get corporate jobs.”

He then added, “Betel farmers from the Chaurasia community are an example for all communities that with proper planning and execution, farming and agriculture can be a lucrative and attractive career option for the future generations. We bring the best agriculture experts with us who extensively research about eco friendly agriculture, organic farming, reducing wastage, crop preservation and transportation methods and so much more. It is just a matter of time before we see results on a large scale as our teams are working really hard to elevate those who work the hardest and feed the nation.” The efforts of Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia and his team are showing effect as more people from the Chaurasia community show interest in their traditional occupation.

Yatender Rao is a dedicated family man, successful businessman, social worker, and politician. He approaches his life and its various aspects with a state of altruism and well-being. He is highly regarded and respected for his work towards society. As a citizen of a nation that requires a lot of structural effort and initiative, he is the man exactly for that. A look into Yatender’s childhood

Yatender Rao hails from a family of social workers and educators, thus he gets his inspiration and work ethic from them. After earning his B.Tech, Law (LLB & LLM), and MBA degrees from top universities, he formed a strong desire to serve not only the society but also the people.

Yatender’s parents have carried the social work mantle for him, since his father, Shri RK Yadav, a retired Govt Officer is currently practicing as an advocate and social worker. Meanwhile, Yatender’s mother, Dr. (Smt.) Krishna Yadav, worked as a Professor in the Haryana government’s Higher Education Department and still working for women empowerment.

As a result, he became involved in politics while still in college. From an early age, he has been an active body of change for the BJP Youth Wing in Haryana, holding roles such as State Vice President, State Executive Committee Member, and Study Circle Head.

He is currently functioning in a key position in the mainstream BJP and has been a prominent member of the party for over a decade.

Vision behind starting the NGO

Our honourable Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, is a major source of inspiration for Yatender Rao, an ambitious politician and admirable youth leader.

This inspiration led to the formation of the Jaihind Jansewa Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps people in need in the neighbourhood. This NGO has pledged to assist society by working tirelessly to improve the lives of those who are in need.

The NGO operated with maximum dedication and tenacity during the tumultuous and dreadful time of the pandemic. Dry rations, food packages, and animal food were organized and distributed. The NGO also assisted in the organization of blood donation and health camps.

The Jaihind Jansewa Foundation has hosted a number of health camps in collaboration with reputable national and international organizations such as the Red Cross, Rotary, and administration. These collaborations demonstrate the organization’s effect on both rural and urban level.

Yatender Rao has undoubtedly made efforts in improving conditions for the betterment of his own close surroundings. Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia belongs to a generation where he has seen family structures and society evolve. He is a man with great love for his family and his community. He shared his thoughts on why Indian family structure is still sustainable and important for raising happy citizens.

He said, “As a civilisation we have had role models, both males and females, who have been dedicated to their families as well as to social causes and this country. They have performed great feats both with support and love for their families as well as for this land. The Chaurasia community is also a part of this ancient civilization and has always valued the family system where everyone is well taken care of. Family is a safe haven where people find mental, emotional, and practical support. In a world full of chaos and competition, we all want to come back to where we are accepted and loved for who we are. A strong and happy family unit is inherent to mentally strong children who grow up to become successful adults. Today, we see that there is a threat to this structure. There are many reasons behind this including lack of flexibility in the older generation, lack of understanding and patience from the younger generation, technical evolution which has widened the gap between generations, changing traditional roles, and so on. The blame cannot be fixed on one group. What is needed is to look at how we can bridge this gap.”

Importance of strong family structures

In India, families have always cared for the older generation. Elders have provided guidance and support to younger members to go out and face the challenges of life. In strong family units, children are emotionally and mentally healthier. Even if they do develop social and psychological issues, they have a support system. During the Pandemic, social isolation as well as being away from families was one of the major reasons for people complaining of poor mental health, emotional upheaval, etc. It has had major psychological and economic consequences. In such times of uncertainty, people look to their family and friends for support. Family is the primary institution that socialises children, leads to emotional and physical development, lends financial and mental support. At the same time, conflicts in a family are detrimental to physical, mental, social, and economical aspects of the family members.

Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia shared what he thinks can be done to ensure that these structures evolve rather than crumble. He expressed, “Traditional roles in families are changing. It is not a bad thing. With time, acceptance around these changes is growing. People are having children at a later age making the ever existing problem of generation gap starker. There is a huge gap between how the two generations think and respond to current situations. Technology here can be a barrier as our younger generation has access to information and devices we could not even imagine. But technology can be the bridge between different generations as well. Older generations have to learn the use of technology. It will enable them to interact with their children and grandchildren. It will also show the younger generation how invested other members are in preserving relationships. There has to be a balance between traditions and modernity. It is important that families provide stable and sustainable environment for people to grow. Neither government nor any other social institution can replace a family unit. Their role is to empower families, help them resolve conflicts, and counsel them to be more accepting and encouraging.”

Chaurasias are people who take pride in their history and culture. At the same time, this community has adapted itself well to the changing times. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia is the president of the Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha. This organisation works to bring together the people of Chaurasia-Tamboli community, and works towards the welfare of all community members. In order to encourage communication, co-operation, and bonding between the younger and older generation, they organise community gatherings. They educate people about the role of technology, impart technical education to different age groups, and encourage people to work together. They encourage families to resolve conflicts either on their own or with the help of other community members. The organisation is helping individuals adapt themselves to the modern society while preserving the essence of being a part of the Chaurasia community with its roots going deep into Indian civilization and history.

The Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha and its leaders are working on a very crucial issue which is related to children. Children are the future of our society and civilization and ensuring their wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility. The members of the organization are working to ensure that all children are able to deal with the stress of exams. After the covid pandemic, children have been almost isolated from their peers and friends. They were forced to be cut off from the conventional methods of education that they were used to. Online learning was not found to be convenient for everyone and many children found it really stressful and inconvenient to appear for online exams. This is the area where Mr. Ramesh Chaurasia, the president of the Mahasabha is trying to bring change and make children more comfortable with the changing ways of education.

“Exams are a decisive factor in children’s lives and that is why it is naturally one of the major stressors too. We know it but little is done about it. Children can find it immensely difficult to deal with exam stress. They are very vulnerable during exams due to the expectations of their parents, teachers and peers. There are a lot of factors that need to be understood when it comes to children and their relationship with exams and competition. We are working with top psychologists to ensure that we are able to find out more ways to help out children of the community when it comes to dealing with the stress which exams often bring. We organize regular discussions and seminars where children are invited. We try to organize group and one on one sessions where children are asked to share their problems regarding exam preparations. So far, we have been successful in mitigating the major stressors. Our team is working harder now because this is the time for final exams for many classes.”- Mr. Ramesh Lakhulal Chaurasia said when asked about what the organization and the team is working on.

Slow learning children need special attention

This is a very noble cause which the organization is working towards. Education is considered to be the most important thing in our society and yet no one talks about the stress which students face during exams. Many times, we tend to forget that each child is different and their learning capacities can also differ. It should be noted and accepted that slow learners need special attention and more time to learn things. They are in no way lesser than any other students. This is what the Akhil Bharatiya Adarsh Chaurasia Mahasabha is trying to spread awareness about.

“We should not forget that children have delicate minds and hearts. It is imperative that education is important for them but sometimes parents and teachers forget that the stress of performing well in exams can be overwhelming for them. Each year there are cases where children run away from their homes or fall prey to dangerous activities around the time of their exams. This is only because they are told that performing well in exams is the beginning and end of everything. With our seminars and meetings, we are trying to spread awareness among parents and educators about child psychology. We help the children to find methods to cope with the expectations of their friends and families. We try to engage teachers into developing classroom activities where children are taught stress management techniques through games and mental exercises.” – A senior volunteer who works with the organization expressed the need for awareness regarding mental stress that children face during exams.

बिजनौर। संकल्प सेवा समिति की स्थापना वर्ष 2018 में धामपुर के फूलबाग कॉलोनी निवासी समाजसेवी विवेक सेन ने की थी। उनके साथ इस संस्था में जावेद अंसारी, शिवम कुमार, विपुल चौधरी, वैभव चौहान, अर्जुन सिंह, सुखवीर सिंह सहित कुछ अन्य युवा हैं। इन सभी के माध्यम से करीब 70 अन्य युवा अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से इस संस्था से जुड़े हैं। विवेक बताते हैं कि वैसे तो उनकी संस्था का प्रमुख कार्य समाजसेवा करना है लेकिन उन्होंने फेसबुक पर एक पेज बनाया हुआ है। इस पेज से करीब 24 हजार लोग जुड़े हैं। जब किसी को खून की आवश्यकता होती है वे फेसबुक पर मैसेज लिख देते हैं और संस्था से जुड़ा कोई भी युवा खून देने पहुंच जाता है। विवेक बताते हैं कि उनकी संस्था से बिजनौर के अलावा मुरादाबाद में भी कई युवा जड़े हैं।

उनके साथ जुड़े युवा खाद्य सामग्री एकत्रित करने के लिए खुद ही पैसा एकत्रित करते हैं, लेकिन इस सब नेक कार्य में विवेक की मां उर्मिला देवी इस  बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा ले रही हैं। विवेक बताते हैं कि मां ने लॉक डाउन में जगह-जगह फंसे गरीबों और अन्य लोगों के लिए सुबह-शाम खाना तैयार करना शुरू कर दिया। करीब ढाई सौ लोगों का खाना हर रोज तैयार करने के बाद पैकेटों में भर कर बांटा गया। उर्मिला देवी ने बताया कि गरीबों की भूख के सामने उनकी ये मेहनत कुछ नहीं है। उनका हाथ बंटाने के लिए पड़ोस की ही महिला धर्मवती देवी के अलावा दीपक चौबे, सरिता आदि भी मदद करते हैं।

घुमंतू परिवारों के बने सहारा- कोरोना कॉल में सभी को भारी परेशानियों से जूझना पड़ा, लेकिन गरीबों को इसकी मार अधिक झेलनी पड़ी। धामपुर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बगदाद अंसार रोड और स्योहारा रोड पर कई ऐसे घुमंतू परिवारों को खाने तक के लाले पड़ गए थे। एक घुमंतू ने बताया कि जब वह एक-एक दाने के लिए तरस रहे थे, तब समाजसेवी विवेक सेन ने परिवार के बच्चों और अन्य लोगों को खाने के लिए भोजन के पैकेट बांटे।

धर्म नहीं जरूरी- संस्था में हिंदू और मुसलमान युवा जुड़े हैं। इनके लिए धर्म कभी आड़े नहीं आता। राम को खून की जरूरत पड़ती है तो रहीम तैयार रहता है और रहीम को खून की जरूरत होती है तो राम खून देने के लिए तैयार रहता है। संस्था सदस्यों का ये सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द भी क्षेत्र में चर्चा का विषय है।

आए दिन फेसबुक पर मदद के मैसेज आने और उनकी जरूरतों को पूरा करने का ये काम संकल्प सेवा समिति के सदस्य और पदाधिकारी कर रहे हैं। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बेटी दिवस पर भी इस एनजीओ के सदस्य ने नहटौर की बिटिया अदीबा को खून दान किया।

ऐसे ही किसी कार्य से बिजनौर गए भीम आर्मी जिला उपाध्यक्ष विवेक सेन ने लौटते समय रास्ते में देखा कि एक युवक पीछे बैठी वृद्धा को हाथ से पकड़ कर दूसरे हाथ से बाइक चला रहा है। ऐसा दृश्य देखकर विवेक सेन ने सहानुभूतिपूर्वक उनकी बाइक रुकवा कर पूरे मामले की जानकारी की, तो पता चला बाइक चला रहा युवक महिला का पुत्र है तथा वृद्ध महिला मुरादाबाद से दवाई लेकर लौट रही थी। रास्ते में तबीयत बिगड़ने पर कमजोरी की अवस्था में वह बाइक पर बैठने में भी लाचार थी। यह वाकया सुनकर विवेक सेन का दिल पसीज गया तथा उन्होंने अपनी आन-बान और शान नीला गमछा सड़क पर बिछा दिया तथा उस पर वृद्ध महिला को लेटा दिया। कुछ देर आराम करने के बाद जब महिला की स्थिति में सुधार हुआ, तो महिला को उन्होंने अपनी गाड़ी से अपने दोस्त सनी सिंह जाटव के द्वारा घर तक पहुंचा दिया। विवेक सेन की इस दरियादिली व कुशल व्यवहार पर वृद्ध महिला के परिजनों ने उनकी जमकर सराहना की।

वहीं स्योहारा थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम महमूदपुर सानी में दामाद ने पत्नी के ससुराल न जाने पर सास-ससुर को चाकू गोद कर उन्हें मौत के घाट उतार दिया था। बीच-बचाव में आए अपने साढू फहीमुद्दीन पर भी चाकू से कई वार कर उसे भी गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया था। परिजनों ने फहीमुद्दीन को घायल हालत में नहटौर तिराहा स्थित प्रयास हास्पिटल में भर्ती कराया था। फहीमुद्दीन को भर्ती कराने के बाद लगभग सभी परिजन सास, ससुर को सुपुर्देखाक के दौरान अपने घर लौट गए थे। अस्पताल में तीमारदारी में अस्पताल स्टाफ के अलावा चंद लोग ही मौजूद थे। देर रात करीब आठ बजे फहीमुद्दीन को उपचार के दौरान खून की जरूरत पड़ी, तो चिकित्सक ने मौजूद लोगों से तत्काल एबी प्लस ब्लड का इंतजाम करने को कहा। रात में जब कहीं से भी खून नहीं मिला, तो किसी परिचित ने विवेक सेन को फोन कर हास्पिटल में तत्काल खून की जरूरत की जानकारी दी। विवेक  सेन का ब्लड ग्रुप भी एबी प्लस है। विवेक गांव में आयोजित उस समय एक बैठक में व्यस्त थे। जैसे ही विवेक को इस बात की जानकारी हुई, तो वह बैठक को बीच में ही छोड़कर तत्काल प्रयास हास्पिटल पहुंचे तथा फहीमुद्दीन को खून देकर उसकी जान बचाई। देर रात फहीमुद्दीन के परिजनों के वापस लौटने पर जब उन्हें हिंदु युवक द्वारा खून देने की जानकारी हुई, तो उन्होंने विवेक सेन की मुक्त कंठ से सराहना की। विवेक सेन के इस दरियादिली की जानकारी मिलने पर देर रात तक घायल फहीमुद्दीन की मदद करने को विवेक सेन के समर्थक अस्पताल में ही मौजूद रहे। ---इसी तरह एक बार स्योहारा मार्ग स्थित ग्राम हसनपुर पालकी में चिंगारी से कूड़ी में लगी आग तेज हवा के चलते कुछ ही समय में आसपास स्थित खेतों तक पहुंच गई। ग्रामीण जब तक कुछ समझ आग बुझाने का कोशिश करते आग ने कई घरों को भी अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। सूचना मिलने पर जिला पंचायत सदस्य पद के प्रत्याशी विवेक सेन अपने समर्थकों सहित मौके पर पहुंच गए। विवेक के साथ आए युवा अपने हाथों में बाल्टी व अन्य उपकरण लेकर आग बुझाने में जुट गए। काफी देर बाद फायर बिग्रेड की गाड़ी भी मौके पर पहुंच गई। बाद में कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया जा सका।

Nas Suresh Krishna is Chennai based entrepreneur who started his first startup h. We asked him how he started his company without any money and making money out of nothing but his skills and knowledge. Slowly we began to interact with him, and he shared a few things about his journey.

How did you start your company?

He said WolfersTech was not started in a well-planned way. Still, it didn't happen in a night. He said, “I had dreamed of starting a business and running it, but I didn't feel comfortable with it on those days because I was undergoing some personal stuff. My own friends backstabbed me because I was not enough for doing things. Those incidents pushed me towards loneliness, and yeah, at the moment, NAS Suresh Krishna turned to "Lone wolf." Later days passed, I didn't even had my personal computer or laptop. I used to borrow from a good friend, surf the internet, complete a few programming and digital marketing courses, and get certified on those things. One day in the early morning, I started to design a logo for WolfersTech and its website. In fact, while I began to design logo, I didn't even had a proper name for the company. I chose Wolf from Lone wolf and added 'ers' for plural form, so it turns 'Wolfers' and just included 'tech' So it's how WolfersTech started.”

Do you really think everyone can start a startup?

Well yes, everyone can be what ever they want to be but thing is we have to do it. If we wish something to happen, it never happens, so give a try to it.

What do you think about the Indian education system vs entrepreneurs do you think it creates opportunities for people to become entrepreneurs?

Actually entrepreneurship is not a role nor title it's a mindset. In Indian education we don't allowed to fail if we didn't we don't learn and things are getting changed and many people started to chase their dreams.

What would you say to people who have a passion and still waiting for opportunities?

I as mentioned early, if you want your dreams to come into reality go get it and opportunities won't come to you. You have to create it. Ask a question to yourself. Are you interested in your goals or are you committed to your goals? If you are interested in goals, you will find a reasons when you fail. But, when you are committed to your goals you will find a way to accomplish it.

What would be your advice to young Founders?

Firstly I don't call it as advise but kind of knowledge sharing. I say, you should form a good team and treat them in well manners. Because My team taught me many things. In specific, I learnt the HR skills from my team mate Swarna, marketing skills from Ram, patience from Ajith, technical things from Swetha and Nithesh. So, having a good team will make things easier because Teamwork always makes your dreams to work.

We saw your your social media posts and WolfersTech LinkedIn page. It focuses on two things one technology and another one is leadership shall we know why you guys exaggerating leadership?

Leadership is important to every company, not only for companies but also for individual humans. I learnt these things in life from other people who mishandled me. I started to follow leadership and I say if someone treats you wrong, treat them in the right way so they can learn from you. Moreover, a good leader creates another leader and provides equal opportunity for the Team and grows together.

What’s vision you have for your company?

WolfersTech has vision of making AI for everyone in pocket friendly cost and we also have a dream to build other people companies and make life easier and better.

We know Suresh you are also involved in other stuffs apart from WolfersTech. Can you share that with us?

Well, yes I use to write poetry, quotes, later it turned to books. Till now, I have published three books. I use to write but I had no clue until my friend Pavithra gave an idea of publishing a book. I tried and published it in zero cost since it's a ebook.

 As an entrepreneur, what matters a lot to you?

I believe in one thing as an entrepreneur and I stick to it. One entrepreneur should create another entrepreneur and build a better society for all people. Moreover, live the moment and experience life as you explore new things. NCERT Director’s first offline visit to a school, MADE EASY SCHOOL, Chhatarpur organizes a first-of-its-kind event.

New Delhi: On 26 February 2022, MADE EASY SCHOOL, Chhatarpur organized a “Skill and Fun Mela” for 3 to 8-year-old children. As the Chief Guest, Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani, Director of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), inaugurated these efforts towards empowering kids with relevant, age-appropriate skills. The Chairman and Managing Director of the MADE EASY Group, Mr B. Singh, and the Managing Director of the MADE EASY Group, Mrs Jyoti Singh, presided over the event, which also witnessed the release of A Handbook on Skill Development for Primary School Students. Eminent educationist Mrs Lata Vaidyanathan was the Guest of Honour. Through this endeavour, the school’s Principal, Mrs Suniti Sharma, along with the school’s teachers, shared a wide range of pedagogical activities for pre-primary and primary school students and their parents.

The sense of achievement felt by the promising young participants was enhanced by the praise showered on them by Mr. B. Singh. Children enjoyed clicking selfies with him, even as he motivated them to continue working hard at their chosen task. Mrs. Jyoti Singh offered similar inspiration to the children’s parents, who were thrilled to attend an offline event with their child for the first time in years. She was a driving force in arranging the event together with Mrs. Suniti Sharma and the school’s faculty and staff. 

In fact, Mrs Lata Vaidyanathan was happy to note that the skill mela upheld the fundamentals of the NEP 2020. She particularly admired the LIVE, in-person skill workshops and spent much time at the organic gardening workshop. Enjoying the enthusiasm of the budding gardeners, she advised the children to name their plants and find out their plants’ botanical names too. Deeply engrossed in their creative pursuits, the young artists offered a delightful sight to the veteran educator.

Participants, both young and old, lavished positive feedback on the school’s initiative. They specifically complimented the school’s beautiful, spacious lawns as well as the sensitive guidance of the teachers who facilitated the activities for children.

Many boys of his age can only dream to reach his stature. Meet Sarfaraz Shamsher ali shaikh, his beloved fans call him Sarfu. Sarfu is a fashion influencer currently studying in his 12th grade and he is from this little town called Worli Jijamata Nager - 400018 . Sarfu now continues to study alongside being a fashion icon in his community and has stolen hearts of many people across India. Let’s learn his story.

Sarfu was just a regular boy from his town, when the tiktok craze took over India, he didn’t hold back, he was quick to create an account and started posting content. He would post videos of different styles and the people from his town would foul mouth him and make fun of him eventually even his own family looked down on him. They were conventional and were worried for his future and advised him against this path and asked him to stop immediately but something in Sarfu kept him going.

He made lots of videos on tiktok and with the ban of tiktok all his dreams were also washed away. He gave into the thought that maybe his friends and family were right. However, he was determined to finish what he had started and found another way around this obstacle. He found another platform MOJ and started posting his content on there. People from his town continued to speak ill but now even people on the platform made fun of him and his content. At such a young age to get such amounts of hate and criticism is too much and we were curious as to how he handled it to which all he had to say is, “Of course yes their words did hurt me. But, a positive approach is what has kept me going” He channeled their negativity into critique and gradually made changes and got better with his content. When there was nothing left to make fun of, they bullied him about his clothing and style, they said obscene things and said that he was not from a good household and it would be better to keep him at bay. The people did not stop at even complaining against the boy to his father but Sarfu was adamant for his dream and kept on. He even took that critique as a goal and did a whole makeover. Piece by piece he learned to find his own style and is now one of the most dashing boys you can find.

He continued making content and started collabing with other creators which led to networking but most importantly the magnitude of sharing his videos. His fan base is his strength, they shared his videos and his following grew by the day. He kept righting his wrongs and he diligently kept posting. He slowly started gaining traction on Instagram as well, it has now grown up to a base of 11K followers. This slowly attracted brand deals and business opportunities. One by one the people around him turned a positive mind to his indomitable spirit, his family that was embarrassed of him once are now proud of him, he sees eye to eye with his elder brother and has once again earned their love, support and respect back.

The people who ridiculed him at first, respected him now. But he doesn’t let that get to his head he has continued on his journey since he understood that “Logg kuch bhi kehenge, loggo ka kaam h kehna” (People will keep talking, it is their job to do so) Now he has a following upto 2 lac on MOJ, Sarfu adds, “I almost can’t believe it.
