Muktsar, February 8, 2022:-Setting a fine example for others to follow, Deputy Commissioner Harpreet Sudan (IAS) today admitted his son-Pritham Singh Sudan—into a government school, Chak Beer Sarkar.
Stating this principal of the school Pushpa Sachdeva said that government schools are not less than any private school where children are getting facilities equal to private schools.
He stated that this is an ideal way to encourage others to admit their wards in government schools.
Principal of Government Primary She said that that though their school is already well equipped with all the facilities for children but with the enrolling of Deputy Commissioner’s son, in first class, will prove instrumental in further improvement.
“We have 9 teachers, 6 volunteers,2 education providers for 387 students in our school from 1st to Vth”, Sachdeva said.
She pointed out that apart from free books, uniforms, food the school housed a well-built library, smart classrooms, computer lab, play station, good washrooms, drinking water facilities, and neat & clean toilets.
DEO Prabhjot Kaur appreciating the new enrolment said that this will also encourage other government officials to send their wards into government schools.
